I agree. It is very sad to see everyone hating on it. I get the game is not where people expect or want at this time. Everyone agrees on this. What does all the negativity do but make it seem hopeless....I feel like a lot of people have been wanting Smite to fail for a long time now and the devs have put their all into it. The company is managed poorly with the past decisions made in developing other games rather than giving their all to the only game that has stuck around and brought money. I really hope Smite does not die and Smite 2 becomes successful eventually. Ill be here till it dies officially and i don't believe any other game will capture me the way Smite has.

I agree with the Smite 2 take. I’d give it like until February maybe until the god pool is more diverse. I think the issue with Smite 2 is that they’re giving it the Smite 1 update treatment when the game is still basically unfinished. They’re doing an update every 3 weeks, they do bug fixes more often which is good but that’s not the major issue. There’s no god diversity, the competitive aspect is poorly designed. I mean it makes sense when not alot of people play Smite 2 to begin with. Idk, I’m just rambling now. But I do hope Smite 2 succeeds. It definitely won’t be now, but give it some time and it’ll be a great game

I absolutely do not get the doomposting that everyone does, doomposting is only good for a game when you want it to fail. You cannot doompost a game into success, that doesnt work. Here's what happens: 1. Big smite KZbinr uploads video titled "OMG SMITE 2 IS COOKED HIREZ IS THROWING" 2. Long time viewers see this and potentially decide to stop playing 3. New viewers see the biggest smite youtuber say the game is dead and decide to never give it a shot 4. No one is playing smite 2 because of all the doomposting and smite 2 isnt generating income 5. Hirez does layoffs because no one is playing smite 2 6. Community blames hirez 7. Game flops VVGG VEW

Hey so a couple months ago I played ranked and it was my first ever match but I got put in a high gold lobby. Is there any tips for when your placed against ppl that are higher ranked than you? I like going for Odin when I jungle in Smite 2. Full strength and one or two bruiser items like shifter's shield or the hammer (language barrier yeah). I think it just works.
