Had a favorable BVA Remand Jan 25 2024 (PTSD - MST Related). Very strong worded order by the Judge that there were egregious DTA’s and failure to review medical evidence. Judge Ordered private medical records be submitted to him and the RO. Judge requested they do a records review and another medical opinion, he said another C&P should only be initiated if absolutely necessary. They got those said 76 page records that prove diagnosis and the sexual rape/assault within 2 days after orders was received. They already had medical evidence prior and lay statements from service members and SHARP unit. As of today (07/17/2024) still pending in the Stage 3 Evidence Review and Gathering Stage since March 4th 2024. Pounding my head at the wall. Like hello you clowns, you got the records 2 days after the order was sent and it’s now July almost August. Incompetence at the RO office that it takes that long. They got everything they need with a bow wrapped. So disheartening and frustrating. Just did a service request few days ago asking them to fix that issue and acknowledge they have the records. Timeline as well for those on this Channel reading. Intent to File: Aug 2017 RO Denied Oct 2019 BVA AMA (Evidence Docket Route): July 06, 2020 BVA Remand (Favorable Order) : Jan 25, 2024 Medical Documents sent Jan 27, 2025 Pending Stage 3 Evidence Review since March 4th, 2024. No movement since then. Used VA White House Hotline Inquiry & Congressional Inquiry both send that it’s pending.

Super great interview from both the interviewer and interviewed. Stan is my guy and glad to see is grow and flourish life after the military. His memories of service take me back to my service days and make me miss the times and people that I've had a chance to meet and develop not only as men but as people. Great job.. oh and for anyone that took the severance package upon discharge from service and had to pay it back, you can call the IRS and get steps on filing a 1040x because if you had to pay it back to the VA, that money is now considered non taxable. I was about to file and get a refund of that tax money back a few years back. Again great interview

Bad Advice. You want and "qualify" for VA Care....you best provide all historical medical and military records. Otherwise...seek Care elsewhere.

I was on a 4 year contract and got OTH out in year 3.5.... went past authorized mile radius without permission. Wrecked my car. Could I still be eligible?

By the way for those that served in the Navy abroad nuclear powered aircraft carriers the Desalinated water had micro orbs in the potable water system. No one to my knowledge has done a long term effects of these micro orbs .

When I was on the carrier 2008 - 2013 I suffered 2 times gastro virus from food contamination. Told C&P for my IBS claim and he said there is no correlation. Can you help?

IBS is now rated as a symptom under GERD, I know first hand because I was rated 30 each for both and the VA took the IBS back recently and said it was a "clear and unmistakable error" on their part.

I was told by the VA. I have to file a claim to be eligible for a discharge review. I just can't apply for a review of discharge.

I was in the Navy from 01/1999 to 04/2001 got an OTH discharge in 2001 for a pattern of misconduct with an RE-4 code and narrative reason for discharge has a HKQ code. Am I eligible for VA benefits and the GI Bill?

Nobody keeps your rent, stable think about it. If you rent they can put the rent up anytime they want this slows down the state if you pay the house off, you don’t have that rent so I think you should think about it. Everything else you said is correct

Really? Well let me see, I initially sent my request to the CORRECT national archives, they said the Va had them! So I did same to the Va. they said the archives had them. This happened numerous times over 33 years! Finally now after a 7 month wait after I went to the Va 100 miles away with another combat vet I got my records! Of course many pages missing, some water damaged. But after waiting that last 7 months I got them🤬word of advice, if the archives say they don’t have them the Va does then they do! Then you have to get mad at them and show them the archives letter forcing them to find the records and get you a copy! I’m not the only one who’s gone through this scenario!

I filed a claim in 2009 the VA said in one of my denials they did not recieve my medical records. Since I've learned that EVetrec does not have them and milsap does not either. I'm wondering at this point should I get my congress person involved this while process seems like it's all about discouraging vets to seek their records. I had a in service EKG performed at Walter Reed where they discovered a heart murmur. I played football for 12 years straight into college towards the end of my ball playing days we had some good doctors. I had to take a physical every year prior to the season. Nobody ever mentioned a heart murmur so i'm pretty sure it came from my time in the service. That being said I need my records.

I have been waiting for seven months for my FOIA request for my C-file. I did a request for my military records from NARA and it took about five days which included the weekend to get it electronically processed, but of course it had no service treatment records in it. So I have done a follow up request through NARA for all of my records. Their canned statement said my medical may already be at the VA if I have filed a claim. So why can I get a FOIA request through NARA in five days and can’t get my C-file in seven months from the VA?

I had a VSO file, Freedom of Information Act requesting my in-service medical records. After 3 months I called the VA and requested an update on my request. She said, "Yes we have your records I can see them". I said then why can't I get a copy. Their response was well it is a long process and it takes time. My response was I don't understand. I should be able to walk into the VA hospital and ask for and receive a copy of my Active Duty Medical Records. They responded, I understand what you are saying but it doesn't work that way.

I am waiting for snail mail. It says received, processed, sent on the website, and no otheroptions. How long until i get my records? My records are in some archives, probably next to the Dead Sea scrolls. Any advice?
