Seems to a casual observer that with Shimmel claiming fifty percent and Ruven claiming one hundred percent that a different compromise is appropriate. Based upon the principals of the fifty fifty split, the strength of the claim of honesty and the court being a witness the only part in dispute should be twenty five percent. Therefore, Ruven should get sixty two and one half percent and Shimmel would get thirty seven and one half percent.

That is because it is total nonsense which iss exactly what the Talmud is - Total Nonsense. This is Zen Buddhism for Jews. It means whatever the rabbis say it means at any given moment and hence really means nothing. This is what Jesus called the Tradition of the Elders which he despised. This is mind poison.

Is the Talmud "Divine"?
@goldengun9970
@goldengun9970 8 ай бұрын
If you learn aboit the Talmud you will no how much the Talmud is and is not divine. The oral Torah is divine. Learn about what was written down in the mishna and why and same for gemorah and then you will have your answer which is not a total yes or no

The joke proves that the Talmud is used to serve the Jew. It keeps turning for there benefit only.

May I make a request? Please include a timeline in The information below the video that you provide. I am seeing that on other channels, and when I want to reference some thing you have said to someone else, it would be very very helpful if you can find it as a skill to add. I appreciate what you are doing and I am learning every time I listen. You are appreciated and so is everyone on your team.

Love that this is available! Next time maybe mute all the folks listening so we don't have all the noise from someone's microphone. Thanks!

The two men in a chimney is not a joke. It is not funny. It is an illustrative exercise. Many will find it tedious.

Great discussions - I spend a year trying to figure out (on my own) what you've summarized in two hours (parts 1 and 2). Thanks! Is the text (your supplements - not Sefaria) available to download?

They do. Even most beginner's classes are designed to exclude people who didn't grow up frum and speaking Hebrew. I don't think it's always intentional, but rather that segment of Jewish society is just that secluded disconnected from worldwide Jewry, to the point that they aren't able to teach people.
