As a guy who used to be a typical movie buff that bashed on Michael Bay, I realize he's not the death of cinema after all and that he does make some good movies. This is definitely my favorite movie of his. It's popcorn entertainment, but it's great popcorn entertainment with likable characters.

Ever notice how little the Freddy Noonan character appears in the entire movie. When The Independence crashes he is written off but they dont acknowledge his death or even come across his corpse afterwards

Bruce Willis apparently didn't get along with the actor who played Freddy Noonan, so they cut him out of the movie as much as possible.

Well to be fair they're potentially sacrificing themselves if I came back alive I'd want more than appreciation for it as well, I'd want some cash and to never pay tax again what they all asked for in return is not unreasonable

His is the most realistic. The gravity of the situation is felt when you consider this is a situation that mirrors the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs and not only is it coming, it’s coming in just over two weeks. That’s unfathomable.
