Baja designs isn’t mid quality , that’s a high quality brand , I run both Squadron Dirch Ligjys and S8 40” on my roof rack. Won’t be disappointed

I got the same roof rack for my 3rd Gen , only reason I went with it is because they were the only ones who had a sale compared to prinsu and Sherpa , and honestly I couldn’t be anymore happier with my decision. Edit : purchased the Baja Designs S8 40” LED Bar and I’m having clearance issues (bar too wide) both brackets won’t fit onto the beam. I’m gonna have to shave down the brackets in order to get them to fit properly.

Paint the all chrome black, take the front bumper black bottom piece off and trust me u will look 10 times better

Hi the rock sliders are the 4xinovations welded rock sliders they require to be welded on the frame and they are the medium duty metal.

It was kind of a hassle getting them on bc they don't seem to hold on very well but once they are on they don't get loose I've had mine for 2 years no issue they are sturdy

Great looking rig. I also have a 98 gen 3 and just ordered 5100's but went with stock oem replacement springs. Not planning to lift yet as my truck is daily driver and want to save gas. Love those wheel/tire combo. I am still on stock wheels. Did your wheel upgrade effect ride performance or are wheel choice mostly for cosmetic upgrades? God bless!

Yeah its just cosmetic no real difference besides stiffer steering depending on wheel size and gas mileage

I have a 2001 4Runner and I am deciding whether I should purchase 275’s or 285’s, I use the car as a daily driver but I really like the look of the 285. i don’t know if it will rub or affect my mpg a lot. Is it a big difference from a 275?

I stuck them along the door seal over the top and thru the hood there is a little opening connecting the door and engine bay

Hey sorry I'm sure if I mentioned it but I wired it with the light bar, I mention it in "4runner update build" at minute 4:03. I located the switch on the left of the steering wheel.

What did you fix for the oil leak you had. I have a bad oil leak too and don’t know where it’s coming from. Looks like it’s coming from somewhere in the timing chain cover.

That’s most likely going to be your front half moon, Toyota repurposed the heads and since the cams aren’t at the top they just made a block off piece that just gets sealed by RTV.

Rides solid and sturdy but haven't tried with upper control arms so I can't compare. As of now no issues besides the CV boots tearing
