Great breakdown! I got to see EW&F this past July, and they killed it! Philip Bailey still has that voice!

Jon: I have heard this song for more than 40 years, but after your breakdown I am hearing it differently. What great musicianship and genius to write these disparate parts that sound so fantastic when they are put together! Thanks. Would never have known.

I have a question: can I lock my audio region to a certain bar number? I give an example: my audio region is in bar 300. I delete bar 250. The audio region still should be in bar 300 and not in bar number 299. Another example: My song starts in 4/4. I make a bar change in bar 250 to 3/4. My audio region should still be in bar 300, not before. Thanks!

Hi, not related to this video but I was watching your video breakdown on an EWF song September and was wondering what isolation software you used? Great breakdown of the song, too!🙂

I think it sounds like a variation of the calypso. The clave rhythm is the same.

Is there a way to lock an audio region to a measure rather than SMPTE, so you can adjust the tempo to match an audio chunk that you're going to repeat, without having to reposition the beginning of the audio file every time to adjust the tempo to line up with the end of the audio file? Thanks.
