Personally, this was the best piece of music in the film and it was used on the weakest chase sequence (which was still decent but it was the weakest of the three).

Weakest is relative in a movie full of wonder, naturally. Music also has to fit the pacing of a scene. "Brothers in arms" has a longer sequence of buildup, here to be heard at the 2:14 minutes mark. This goes for well over a minute. And the bike chase in the canyon is a scene that has that build-up first, unlike the other major action scenes. Then the melodic part kicks in (here at 3:45). In the movie perfectly in sync with the insanely beautiful shots of the bikes jumping over the rig. Basically starting the attacks and escalating the scene -- still getting teary eyed when watching this until today. Such a beautifully shot movie. No wonder that even a few arthouse critics/fans warmed up to the movie.

Согласен. Все эмоции сравниваю с этим фильмом. Вдох вначале, выдох в конце. Как говорится на одном дыхании. Сейчас смотришь фильм- три раза уснул- проснулся - не цепляет 🫣😏

i litterally went crazy in the cinema when the war rig stop the fire and the camera shows the air went opeining, the engine swallow air and goes back at full force... it makes you feel like the war rig is a living being that starts breathing again.

Skyscraper sized monsters with toxic blood are tearing through the cities. The only defense is to use giant, man-made machines to drive them off. And they're slowly becoming obsolete. Your past employer wants you to come out of retirement and deal with your trauma, getting back into uniform to defend a city that doesn't even care about you. Yup, it's a Monday alright.
