I taught a lot of kids how to play guitar. Girls have better hands than boys. I had 2 prodigies, both girls. I had a boy who could not play bar chords because his index finger had been broken and healed crooked. I had to tell his parents that I wouldn't be able to teach him. I had 2 cousins teach me. One could play every song on Second Winter. At 17 years old.

I should remember this next time. I see somebody really good at guitar but playing of the genres music that I don't like but still kind of get jealous that they have all that skill. Like if I could play that way I would really want to

I love your creative intros/graphics … As a necromancer i need to convert my guitar licks into spells , that sounds like a high level rpg skill , I am thinking i might also need a staff or an axe upgrade to handle that , but if i have to choose one class , i would choose the ability to improvise in baroque style , what would be your recommended path / skill set / practice suggestions to get to that level.

When you talked about luck, I was reminded of an old video in which Ted Greene commented on his "dive down to the bottom of the neck and climb upwards again" approach/thing when he was asked about it, and in explaining why he did this he mentioned "Or maybe I'll get lucky..." I knew instantly what he meant, having watched him do this many times, as a guitar player and musician, and both understanding what was going on and basking in the beauty of it.

Yes, that's 'jazz' guitar... Amazing technique ( yes, no doubt a truly virtuoso player...), but in my nearly 60 years as a guitar lover, player and composer ( solo progressive and avant garde guitar ), I have heard similar stuff BILLIONS OF TIMES... And, as always, there is absolutely NO MELODY.... Please, there is nothing personal in my criticism, don't misunderstand me, it's fundamentally a matter of style and conflicting guitar philososophies. Along decades and decades and decades... It's deeply WASTING... Regards.
