I am sorry, It is statistically impossible to get only 3% from 77% biological parent. The only variants are there was mixup of samples or company did huge recalculations between 2 results, and they should make more sence now.

I took a My Heritage DNA test and I got English 53% Azores Islands Portugal 26.4 % Irish Scottish Welsh 8.9 % Scandinavian 7.6 % East European 4.1 %

Her father has no England, yet she has 58% England. If it all came from her mum she got more overall DNA from her mother than her father. Impossible.

The smaller the percentage the more generations it goes back

Rome was a very small percent African, there was only like 1000 black Africans in Rome in the later Era, but the rest was millions of white Europeans, so finding African DNA from Rome would be almost impossible

Maybe dad ain't your dad and mom got that dna from someone else that is not your dad. Or dna tests were from different companies. Or you're adopted and they aren't telling you, even now.

This is because Northern Italians are not descended from indigenous Italians (ancient Italians). Instead they are the descendants of the Gauls and Lombards that migrated into Italy later hence all the French admixture. That being said they are still modern Italian and decedents of Medieval Italians.

dna can pick and choose what you get from what like i didnt get any spanish from my dad but i got his scottish dna. each sibling will have different nationalities as well even though your from the same family if you have more then one nationality in your make up or you can definitly get less or more or none at all. Think of it as a genetic lottery, You have a max combinations of what you are nationally and then you get a randomzied amount if whatever is picked.

My grandmother’s mother and grandmother were from Ramacca & Messina Italy; There’s some other recent folks on my moms side who hail from: Capaci (Palermo) and Brescia (Lombardi). I think this can be happen although It's shocking. Probably your dad's family ancestors were french who were living in northern Italy. For example both of my grand parents were born in Iran. In my mom side my grandpa and most of my cousins are blonde white and it's strange because the common type of Iranian looking is brown or white with black hairs. For some reason we took for her DNA test. And it was extremely shocking.she was 32%percent Swedish, 24 percent English,wales and 11 percent Russian. It means that she is 67% non iranian. But the most strange thing is none of my grandparents married with Europeans. My great great great grandparent were born in Iran.
