What an awesome video! Thanks for putting in the time to document, edit, and share your journey. I cheered at the Camp Hollywood 2022 scene, it was like an epic culmination of all the dancing and practice.

hey, Very nice progression. Very commendable. A quick question. 'Dancing outdoor starts in LA' part. What kind of flooring is that? Looks very slippery... Thanks. Keep on :D

It's a thin, MDF (medium density fiberboard) from Home Depot. Perfect for a simple, fast floor.

Great. Helps to have a partner to practice, me, after ten years i could not do much more than i learned in my first beginner weekend workshop.

I’m extremely lucky to have great partners to dance with and large local dance scene to social dance in. It would definitely have been difficult without that although during the pandemic, the majority of my progress was made with solo footwork practice and watching hours and hours of videos for inspiration.

Hi, Jason! Thank you for sharing this video that encourage to keep practicing Balboa! After I watched your Balboa Journey, I also started to film the video of my each practice. I did see some difference and improvement. I hope I can also dance as good as you do. Thanks again!
