Inboards were excellent. Outboards had odd issues. Some were ok though. Salt water marine mechanic here. 1976-2000.

At the Start of the Video, I didn't know Chryslers had Counter Rotating Outboards and Outdrives back in the early 70s. Every one I ever saw had the Right Hand Props @1:13 Volvo Penta readable on the Outdrive

I graduated high school with Rollie and his future wife Donna in 1970. It was a sad loss for those of us in the hang-gliding community. I went to the memorial that showed some of his escapades from around the world on tape delay by ESPN shortly after the service. Thank you for posting this Paul!!

I remember it on tv in 1967. The year we moved to FL. I can remember my younger brother singing it. He knew all the words. It ran many many times on the Tampa Sarasota channels

I once owned a second hand Crysler 220 volt 30 Amp window air conditioner. After running it for an hour I could turn it off and it would keep my place cool for about 3 hours in the day daytime and 8 hours after sunset.

Too bad those boats didnt hit each other.

Every Evinrude that I ever had was a piece of crap. Every Johnson that I ever had ran great for years. I always heard they were the same. I used to laugh at my Dad when he claimed GMC was a much better truck than Chevrolet, but I had to rethink that thought based on my personal experience with Evinrude/Johnson outboards.

This was a really cool one to watch. It's interesting to see more behind the scenes shots with the mechanics and the landscapers. Thanks for the film!

What is sad is when the Gov bailed out Chrysler in the early 80s part of the conditions where that Chrysler shut down the Marine division . The Marine division at the time was operating in the Green lot of people lost their jobs . But Iacoca pulled Chrysler out of the red and paid back the loan

I had that exact same model and print of Karin's Kidder slalom ski.. I wish I still had it.. Think the were stolen out of my garage years ago.. For whatever reason, that ski really worked for me.. Probably circa 1985/6... I had forgotten all about it until seeing this video.. Thanks!

I love to watch this video. I was right there as it was filmed. Brings back so many good and unforgettable memories and makes me wonder where has time gone to. What a great couple. They were so happy at this time. I recall it well, was with them the whole time they were marrried. Almost every day. Wouldnt take anything for those sweet memories.
