I have ordered leds for fog lamps for my endeavour. It somehow catches moisture any solution to avoid moisture getting in. Don’t want to ruin new set of leds

You have to change the rubber gasket then it would be fine. Rubber gaskets which comes with LED is not of good quality find out a place where you can get a little thicker gaskets

This was a bleaching powder. I recommend using a lethal 10G (an agriculture product) easily available in the agriculture shop. Make small packet in a perforated cloths. It really helps. You can also start following the below process 1. Stop the entry points inside the car. There are two points (in endeavour - you find the same for your car) one below the bonnet and the second is below the rear tail lamp. You can put aluminium mesh to stop the entry. 2. Clean the engine bay with soapy water. You can get it super clean by the detailing guy. Most important step that we miss. If there is a rat trace whatever you do nothing will help 3. After cleaning the engine bay spray amzn.to/3F0pCXy .This will be useful for 3-4 month maximum. Believe me there is no better rat spray available in the market. The average rating is 4.5 in Amazon for more than 5000 reviews. 4. Buy a lethal 10G PACKET. you will get it in local agriculture shop in 175rs kg. Make a few packets and put it in the bonnet area. Please note that camper, naphthaline balls, tobacco etc does not help. This works for 6 months 5. Install a new gen car cat. 6. Buy bleaching powder and spread it near the car. All the above are proven methods and I m using these in my car.

Sir i stay in mumbai and after researching a lot i have ordered for recarro spyro grey waterproof cover i want to know if i keep the water proof cover on in the rain and remove the cover for 10 15 mins ever 2 days will it still lock the moisture in and cause rusting. P.S i stay near the sea and rusting is a serious issue here and i dont even want to leave it open and get wet.

Best option is to leave it open and do some rust protection coating. For the underbody 3M 5 yrs protection would be good and for the painted surface use some ceramic coat in every 6 months. The body cover will surely increase the rusting process. In mumbai weather is very humid and lot of moister in the air.

Unfortunately the fittings are different. So you can not fit ford steering to Maruti. However there is a possibility if you the modification in the steering mount then it will be possible but not worth it

My question is, the car companies must be very much aware about this rat menace and why dont they make cars that has all these metal mesh pre installed ???. Is it so difficult for them ??? Isnt this wierd, as every car will face this issue at some point for sure.

Yes. Most of them aware but costing prevails on everything else. For Ford they have released specific rat mesh part after many of us written to them.

Hiii sir, I think it is 74AH battery , and oem battery is 60AH and it’s been more than a year you have changed the battery of ford endeavour , I have two questions , 1. Is there difference when you start the car ? Long or short self 2. How’s battery performing , did you face any problems regarding alternator ? Is it taking any kind of load ? Yes. You are right the battery was 74AH. The self was short self only. I suspected the battery but it turned out to be a fuse box issue. Alternatively when i reach mumbai the battery and fuse box both are changed so no problem as of now. Alternator was working fine.

Using waterproof and dust protection covers can lock moisture inside, potentially causing the car's body to rust. It makes sense to use these covers in cool, non-humid places, but otherwise, it's better to polish the car with a hydrophobic material like (amzn.to/3I6hYMG) and leave it open. Repeat this process every 3 months.

To me these same errors come whenever the Battery charge goes low. Specifically during Pune Winter. I just charge the Battery using a Battery Charger to full every weekend and the Codes vanish. Same codes came when I once changed the Oil & Oil Filter by myself. I had lifted the front tyres on a ramp to go below to open the underbody skid plates, after that once I started the Endeavour, these same codes came on the steering front screen, I shut off the vehicle and started it again , the codes went. For about two months these codes came and went with no actual problem. Ford Nashik and Pune said can't detect any problem. Then after sometime these codes never came back , the ECU reset itself. I usually replace Fuel Filter , Oil , Oil Filter , Air Filter , AC Filter myself. The Service center uses Semi Synthetic oil , I put Mobil Super 3000 Full Synthetic and my mileage went to 12kmpl from 9kmpl. A technician advised me to remove negative terminal during any change of oil.

Thank you for the thorough comment. I believe the issue may lie with certain electrical components. Initially, it occurred frequently during cold weather in Bikaner, rendering the car unstartable for several days. Despite cleaning the fuse box terminal last year, the intermittant problem persisted. Currently, I had it cleaned in Amritsar, but the issue remains. Fortunately, the car's fuse box is being replaced under warranty, and I'm hopeful this resolves the problem.
