If there does exist a place where the CS majors come together with the Humanities students to discuss the ethics of their innovations and Commerce students to speculate the way the public will accept the technology, I believe it must be a place where they don't push students onto the higher-ed treadmill but actually let them wander the dark, scary, exciting woods all by themselves, while guiding them when they falter or stumble. And now, for the first time, the young explorers have a flashlight they can shine, a satchel of tools they can use to reach where they have to and take home the treasures they uncover to improve lives with it. I might not get in, but #classof2024 represent!
