I love their lyrics because they almost never talk about love. It’s about real shit. War, anarchy, existential crisis, depression, anxiety, hopeful messages, the hardships of life, etc and it all relates to their lore. You can’t pick up the real meaning of everything if you don’t know it lol

Thanks for reacting to Ateez! I have been a fan that has walked with them since practically the beginning, and it has been so wonderful to watch them grow into the powerhouses they are today. They are a really sweet group of genuine guys who work very hard to put out great music. To answer one of your questions: when their album Treasure Ep 2: Zero to One dropped, which featured the songs Say My Name, Hala Hala and Promise, fans really fell in love with Promise as a B-side and begged KQ to release a music video for it. At the time, Ateez was on their very first world tour and so they filmed this quick video for fans in Moscow. So it kind of was like a guerrilla performance which was pretty cool. Anyhow, since you have some knowledge of them I will try to fill in some blanks that I hope will be helpful. Ateez was the first group that their company KQ ever trained and debuted back in October 2018. They have an outstanding production team known as Edenary who write, compose and arrange all of their music. This team consists of head producer Eden (who himself is an outstanding vocalist and solo artist), Pepperoni, Oliv, Leez, Ollounder, Nikko, Maddox, HLB and others. Hongjoong and Mingi work with this team as well - they write all of their own lyrics and Hongjoong in particular has written and produced several songs for Ateez including Aurora, Rocky, All About You, Celebrate, Sunrise and Good Lil' Boy. I would definitely encourage you to watch a guide and some of their variety content to get to know the boys better. They are hilarious and a ton of fun. Funny and touching. *Ateez Fever Road Series - Another hilarious show where they get together and get into all kinds of mischief *Hello 82 Series - they do things like do a fans makeup, cook breakfast, try a hot chip challenge, go undercover as a grandpa, etc. So fun! *Ateez Wanteez Series - this one is their most current and ongoing. They are wild and out of control in the best way possible on here All of these videos should be on the official Ateez KZbin channel under playlists with english subs or are available by searching on youtube. Also, their discography is outstanding and incredibly diverse, especially their b-sides. I would recommend just doing a listening party by album after you've gone through all of their title track MVs because they have so many good b-sides to choose from. I can't say this enough but as you get to know these guys, you will fall in love with them. They are just very warm, friendly, crazy and sweet people. Ateez really broke on their debut era XD Their first day album sale only 430 albums and now they have more than 1.5 million preorder albums on the last comeback. KQ agency also going on debt when they debuted ateez lmao. but on their recent interview mingi said there's only 10 staffs when they still predebut, but now they has more than 100 staffs so they growth for sure <3

Hongjoong is the composer for the group, he works together alongside edenary as their main producer. Eden is his mentor during his trainee era when he's the very first trainee and the only one on agency. KQ was originally a producer agency and have seven season agency as the sub who took care block b. Now Hongjoong also produce for Xikers, ateez boygroup junior from the same agency. His name on composer list on all xikers tracks now so yeah, hes very royal and atz members loves to mention how rich he is XD

Treasure its the very first song in the treasure album series, in the future if u complete their album series u can see the connection with their very last song on the album series called Precious. Where in Treasure they talk about their humble beginning and the excitement on their start journey to hunt the treasure, while Precious gonna talk about how they got crazy and become mindless over the treasure, they sucked into a whole new world and it continue their lastest album series called The World album series, this album still on going on The World Ep. 2: Outlaw with Bouncy as the title track. They have a live peformance for Treasure then continue side by side with Precious.
