It's predicated on an anti establishment model that claims to inpower the people over the government. The reality is this inpowers the wealth over the rest of us. The Bitcoin has gone through some stages of acting like a meme stock. Clearly not what the developers intended. Which exemplifies just how out of control this technology is. So many individuals talk on the antiestablishment principals to avoid being controlled by the government. Sure, governments make mistakes, but can you image what the world would be if we simply removed regulations. It's people and there intentions you should truly be concerned with. Yes, cash has been used as currency in the fraudulent and criminal practices of the world. Although, imagine how much faster & easier it would be to commit those undesirables with BitCoin. And it has already been observed in malpractice across the globe. Instead of talking about scaling up and dethroning the financial systems of the world, why don't you focus on how to design the technology as a safe guard against malpractices and abuse of power. Sounds to me like most of those developing this technology don't care. They are either looking to be Mavericks or do this purely out of their own self interest. Neither of which benefit the people.

In USA we also have a Military Industrial Complex that wages new war after war with the majority of the citizens opposed to the wars. Yet much of our federal taxes go to the war machine. My question is in USA with deep pockets by a small number of people that will gleefully financially back measures to reduce workers then how could the government respond to the economy of tomorrow when currently the government wants to place more taxation on those who can't afford a penny more and strips the remaining FDR New Deal social net down decade by decade to a net with so many holes nearly everyone poor falls thru it and on their head... Case in point how well has the government responded to the enormous loss of coal jobs in West Virginia now one of the poorest states? What I see is a government generally not retraining people and quick to give massive amounts of free OxyContin to people huddled up in trailers there, dying young and solving the problem. In USA what am I missing?
