Great comparison! I would like to know your opinions on the LSK race kit for the tundra? I would think it’s still a better bang for your buck since it’s heimed, includes fabricated uprights, and allows to fit 10” shocks instead of 8”. Even though I know I won’t get the advertised 17” of travel right off the bat. I’ve talked to some tundra guys that says it’s possible to get those numbers with moving shock mounts up and relocating battery, air intake, etc. Prob not ideal for DD but I would think it’s way stronger kit if you’re trying to go fast and better geometry overall.
@gregfoster304610 сағат бұрын
It has less travel a smaller spindle and worst geometry dk performs much better
@gregfoster30469 сағат бұрын
Having a 10 inch shock is only good if the kit will cycle it with a good ratio. Lowering the height of the spindle and dropping the upper arm down to the side of the frame only hurts geometry. Lsk race kit barely has 16 inches of travel uniball to uni ball making it probably 14 inches with shocks in it. The dk kit cycles 15.5 and allows up to a 3.5 bypass to be ran on it. Hate to say it but I bet lsk bolt on kit also cycles more than a lsk race kit. Toyotas also have a forged spindles making it possible to weld in spindle gussets for the added strength.
@dezerttrucks9 сағат бұрын
Greg pretty much covered it. Another plus to the DK kit, is it’s a much easier installation.

I’m not sure how to respond to this. So you’ve been through these whoops before? Do you have any videos we could see? I tried looking at your account. Didn’t see anything. We take trucks here all the time. This truck handled these whoops amazing compared to many other prerunners. If you haven’t been here before, it’s definitely deceiving how large the whoops are.
