Awesome! do you mind doing a tutorial on how you made the flower you used in the pattern?
@HelenBradley2 күн бұрын
Actually the flower is a built in Photoshop shape. Check out this video at 1:58 and you'll see me selecting it. It is called Floral Ornament 4. The catch is that this is a legacy shape and it isn't automatically added to Photoshop any more. Check out this video to find out how to get back the legacy shapes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aIiomqhne7Wpf8U Best of luck!

Thanks for tutorial can you explain how to get free plug in for illustrator?
@HelenBradley8 күн бұрын
This isn’t actually I plugged in. It comes with Illustrator CC automatically. Check, your windows menu, and you should see Libraries in the list.

Muchas gracias Ms. Bradley, aunque no utilizo las librerías de Adobe, esta explicación es muy importante porque clarifica con exactitud el procedimiento que no es tan simple como acostumbra. Saludos y muchas gracias!!! 🌻

Does anyone know what to do if didn't appear "Enable Reader Extended"?
@AngelEyes_559 күн бұрын
Wow I am really confused. I cut my pattern shape, click on the car, select make mask, click on right hand square (the mask) and paste in front, and my right hand square then shows up empty, and my pattern disappears. I am at a loss as to what goes wrong here.

If the circle is in the center of the image and you choose "Polar to Rectangular" in the polar coordinates filter, you'll get a perfectly straight line, right away.

Thank you so much! CS6 works perfectly for me. I do need to refresh my skills as I’m a bit out of practice. I can’t afford the CC version right now, especially after investing quite a bit in CS6, which I haven’t used to its fullest potential yet. Thanks again! ^_^

I always thought the pattern libraries in Illustrator were weird. The fact that the pattern only exists in the document you made it in, unless you save it out as a library, just doesn’t make sense to me.
@HelenBradley19 күн бұрын
I know huh. Just wait till you see one of my upcoming videos on patterns and the CC Libraries panel in Illustrator - Illustrator’s stupidity will be on show yet again. Get your popcorn ready for that one.

Saludos 🙌
