Thank you for the great tip but I question how remove the brown ring inside the toilet other than buying a brown toilet.
@josephtruini23715 күн бұрын
Ha! Yes, a brown toilet would certainly be one way to go--so to speak. Although I'd first try removing the ring with a toilet-bowl pumice stone.

That’s correct. A quarter inch is milled of each side. You can get dimensional lumber but it’s an add on.

Make sure you're marking the straight side for the angles. He lined it up with the 30 degree mark and then marked the wrong side, which is actually a 15 degree line. Notice if he kept pivoting the square and got to 45 it would have been a straight line.

Great Joe!!! Plain Simple to the point! And u were nice doing so!😊 The center finding point was super nice to know!! I have a self centering tape i picked up super cheap and bran new at TSC! DOES IT BAM!! I think i got it for like 7-10$! The center is rt there dont gotta do any figuring or any extra work etc... When i 1st grabbed the tape i was just grabbing a tape thought it was just like most! But it turned out to be the SC one! At 1st i was like wth is this shit dont make sense!!😮😅 But then i read the shit put it together got it! These r great just because THEY SAVE TIME!!! NO EXTRA BS NO MARKIN UP ANYTHING JUST MEASURE BAM! I have a SQ but don't know how to use everything on it! Or what it was all for!? But thanks to videos like urs i am learning much about them and how best to use them to do much-needed things and to save much-needed time! I like urs very much!!! Super nice!!! To the point! Well done!!!😊❤😊❤😊

The center finding trick is nice but... you can just divide the board width by 2. It's much faster.
@WalkerRileyMC2 ай бұрын
You can also, you know, pay attention to what he says when he mentions "how to find the center without using a measuring tape"
@internettoughguy2 ай бұрын
@@WalkerRileyMC I didn't say you needed to use a measuring tape. You can use the exact same thing he used...

I'm a plumber and recently I've started using squares almost every day. I can't believe I ever managed with them before.
@joshuamatheron12 ай бұрын
Easiest way to find the centre of something is just pivot the square till it reads an even number. Then you halve it. Even easier
@chuckmckee27412 ай бұрын
Good info. Yet you can also find the center of any board by taking you tape measure and taking and angle measurement until you fine a common measurement that divides by 2. Mark that center and you have the center of the board.

I've got the Black Aluminium DeWalt 7" / 177mm imperial Black Rafter Layout Square. I got it when Dewalt where doing a promo. So many speed squares to pick from, get the one(s) that suit you, sometimes the feel of a tool can be just as important as the features. I use it for putting up really cheap shelves. I know a lot of people will claim that a combination square (with spirit level and scribe which I do have too) is the better tool (all depends on the job/task at hand). But the speed square is my goto as you don't have to worry much about where to store and handle it (within reason). You can't have enough tools. *Knowing that you have the right tool to best implement and complete a task or job is priceless.*
