I had my installed with the 1000 ft remote . The Remote doesn't seem to go past 30 feet. The oem Remote has more range. and Yes, I had the antenna installed on the windshield. For some reason, The range is terrible with both remotes. Other than that, its works as it should, also note that when if you start the vehicle using the aftermarket remote and open any door, and the vehicle was already unlocked, it will shut off the truck. The truck needs to be locked then remote start, and the truck should stay on. Also, When it does stay on, and you step on the break, your radio will restart but the truck will stay on.

Did yours come with a hood pin, gray wire and purple and white wire? No clue what they’re for.

Help please! Installed 100% by the directions on 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD ORP and programmed. When press the lock button 3 times it just gives me a long beep and if you listen to it inside it sounds like a bunch of clicks. Super weird.

So my fridge says it’s a Frigidaire gallery but it doesn’t have that bottom door yours does. Would I still get the same replacement items you got?

Great install. I have a 2019 Rav4 that I added an Alpine sub and amp to the factory radio. Instead of the LC2i (which I used for an Accord), I have the Kicker KEY-LOC instead. I found that Toyota’s radio doesn’t have the bass roll off that Honda has. But Toyota does attenuate super low bass frequencies at all volumes. I installed the LC2i at first, but it didn’t fix my problem. It just amped up the midbass very well but no low bass. The Kicker KeyLOC takes the facorry signal and flattens it out. This in turn boosted my low bass signal before going to the amp. The bass quality difference is night and day. I suggest drop that in as an experiment. Youll be amazed. Btw, Im not paid by Kicker, just impressed with their product!

Good tutorial. You have to push a little harder than you'd think to get the water filter to pop out, but then it's a simple procedure. Don't ever try to pry it out - you'll only break it! Thank you for including the replacement part numbers. I bought replacements at the local big box hardware store and they sold me the wrong air filters!!!

I'm gonna try this but I have low hopes. I've been working on cars since I was 12 (53 now) and have yet to get one of these to work. I even sold a car once because I couldn't get the rearview to stay on due to repair kits not working and it wouldn't pass inspection. Literally just did one on my dads truck today and it fell off in less than a minute, and this was after 24 hours of curing time. Here to hopin...

Check your wiring harness before install! I ordered mine with the long range remote option and they sent me the standard wiring harness. Didn’t figure that out till I had everything apart.

What taillights on the TRDPro?

Never use those types of wire connectors they rust then it winds up corroding your vehicles wire leading to all kind of problems It is better to snip strip solder and heat shrink.

Even though it is a push-up filter. It is not simple. Because the filter takes forever to get it to pop out. It's not as simple as the young man is saying in the video. Because that's a lie I have pushed mine several times and it will not come out. I don't know if the store is forcing the filter, in there and now it won't come out or what, but it does not come out easy.

Mine didn't come with the cover I have no idea how I'm suppose to change it
