Hello, If I understand what is happening correctly you are still seeing the trust rather than the mapping that is shown at 5:50. This is most likely due to the protocol order the SDK is using when you connect with SDK (which is what SMT is built on). You can change the protocol order in the PI SDK Utility under Connections -> Options to use Windows Authentication first (instead of the Trust), but that may have unintended consequences so proceed with caution.

Once a ProcessBook display is migrated to PI Vision, it can then be fully edited in PI Vision just as if you had created the display directly in PI Vision.

By default when click to expand the Events pane, the listed events will be related to any assets on the display that occur during the time range of the display. The key issue with this calculation is defining peaks in a consistent way. Visually it can be easy to see peaks, but how we define that with the calculation syntax over a trend is not as easy. Is the 3 highest points? Points over a certain value threshold? Add to that storing the peak values in a way that we can then average in PI Vision is difficult. I would start by trying to capture the peak values you are interested in consistently. You may end up needing to use Asset Analytics for this as it is much more flexible with intermediate value storage in variables. To make a change like you are mentioning, you have to take into account when you want the analysis to reset and the timespan to calculate. From your comment I am not sure of either, but I will try to summarize. To generalize the equation used in the video, it would look something like this: IF <New Running Total Should Start Next Evaluation> THEN <Running Total Over Entire Timespan> ELSE <Continuing Running Total from Defined Start Time> To put this in more specific terms of the analysis you have to fill in the blanks for your case here: IF (< New Running Total Start Time>) THEN TagTot(<Tag>,<Previous Running Total Start Time>, '*') ELSE TagTot(<Tag>, <Current Running Total Start Time>, '*') If your start times on not has consistent and always the first day of the month, then you may have to use variables to define you times and then call then in the subsequent Total analysis. We don't recommend manually editing the files. The recommended approach for Gen 2 connectors is using the DCM to do data selection. We realize this may be more tedious than the process for Gen 1, but there are some other key differences in features between Gen 1 and Gen 2, for example Connector level failover. If all your PI software is on the same machine you will follow most of the same steps. Note that if you installed your SQL Server on the same machine as your Data Archive , the backup task should also backup PI AF, so ensure that the PI AF backup is configured successfully.
