Hi mate, Very good video thank you. I have a question: I just bought an underseat subwoofer Jbl basspro nanofor my AW Gti. In the forums they say that you can connect the audio cable to the speakers in the door, and not per se to the headunit. What do you think about this? And another question is regsrding the power: The Polo also has an battery under the trunkfloor, why didn’t you connect it to that?

No. As long as you turn on the ignition it will start working until you turn off the ignition. If you want that work with headlight, you need to connect with the headlight line.

Yes. Neutral is essentially no gear so you can move it front and back

@@erikschmidt3686 I can't remember which one. I don't have that car now. So I can't check. If you have the multimeter check which shows 12v even when the ignition is off. But if you connect with constant power, it will drain your car battery. I suggest to connect with ignition power. If you really want to connect to constant power you can connect with the wire comes from bettery. But not recommended.

I have the exact same car as yours. I did mine with a blue color but only had it in for a month or so. The power source were from the 12v lighter panel . It has a plug that connects to the lighter panel. The problem I experienced was the black adapter (which is on yours as well) got hot and started to melt and burnt. I didn't trust it ever since. Now looking at your setup where you connect it directly to the fuse is just as dangerous. If it gets too hot it'll damage your car. Worse cause it to burn.

Thanks for saying that. I live in Manchester now and don't do it for money. You can seek help from your local garages. They will be able to do it for you. They won't charge you much
