Tried that still didn’t help if I block the sun, it will go down just fine but as soon as I take my hand away, it stops

That would require a rewire and we have a finished garage and attic

@@Nate10502 You can just cut the wires and splice them where they emerge from the walls, if you can't access the attic.

If he moves it to the other side, wouldn’t he have the same problem just at a different time of day? 😂

Couple 3x5 note cards should provide a temporary solution

I never tried it with the myQ app, but it doesn’t matter that much because it’s only between 6 and 7 o’clock when we have this issue when the sun is setting and we’re home anyway

@@Nate10502 I just found sun glare shields for the sensors on Amazon for 10 bucks

Oh I know it’s installed incorrectly but it’s in a spot where we can’t point it down because of where they put it But it doesn’t happen that often so it’s not a huge problem and it self resets after a while

I did a review of this about a year ago but I never did a full sound test and people sometimes want that I don’t know what the small rattle is but it’s so quiet you can’t hear it unless you’re right next to it. And plus it never rattles on a normal cycle because it never gets up to full power

@@Nate10502 it is the inducer slinging up condensate - normal. never needing full capacity even in cold snaps is a indication the furnace is oversized - most are. the modulators don't come smaller than 60 to 70k depending on brand.
