I love hatchbacks and love Mazda but would not buy this hatchback as not a fan of the fat rear end and cramped rear seat and horrible rear visibility. I keep waiting for a styling refresh on the hatch but sadly no changes to the rear of the hatch in 5 years.

The Civic did not need that spoiler to look good. The placement of the spoiler looks weird. Reminds me of an Merkur XR4TI spoiler placement. 🤮

If you actually take the Raptor off-road, the Ecoboost is already way too powerful. Not sure if the horsepower from the Raptor R is gonna do anything besides making the front heavier. But, of course, most Raptor owners drive their Raptors on the pavement so I suppose V8 is the cool one.

The most expensive car I ever bought was the 24 Mazda3 hatchback with a manual transmission. But it also was worth every penny so far. It's perfect for me and my kid.

Not everyone needs a bigger car, but if you do, minivans are a much better use of space than SUVs. So many SUVs barely have more storage than a sedan. The only advantage is a higher roofline over the trunk.

Lovely car. Too bad it's electric making it inaccessible to less than 1% of humans on the planet, due to both price and insufficient charging infrastructure. Polestar makes cars for the Chinese market. Without the Chinese, these cars would not be a viably sustainable product. Feel free to appreciate their cars, but don't give their designers, engineers or leadership too much credit. They still have a long way to go before they truly earn it.

Minivans have a TON more space than even a large SUV. SUVs, regardless of size have so much wasted space for their size when it comes to luggage space. I simply never cared what my fellow combat arms friends ever thought about minivans. I made fun of them for their insecurity. If your SUV is made from a proper truck frame and you need that towing or off-roading ability, then I would say go with an SUV. If you want to car camp and you never go off roading, which very few actually do (though they think they will) the minivan is by far the best option, and you'll get much better gas mileage than a large SUV.

One thing that annoys me with new Sienna is that you can't get eight passenger seating in the higher trim level. That really doesn't bother me too much because I think the base van has more than enough bells. Quite frankly I think it has too many and I would actually like less equipment. However, not everybody has that more minimalist approach like I do. For example, my wife. She would like more equipment, and the higher trim levels negate a lot of the practicality of a minivan by reducing the seating to 7 instead of 8.

Thanks for this informative video segment. I presently have a Ultimate Trim 2022 Hybrid (non-plug-in) Tucson, and I was considering the 2024 IONIQ 5 for replacement. Now, you just gave me another option that I plan on considering very much .. IF they have it in stock, that is, for I don't want to wait 3 months to get it... Thanks for everything, my friend !

I love my MX-5, but feel I need a slightly larger car that would be more comfortable for the passenger seated next to me. I also want something better suited for long distance interstate driving. I drove an RX-8 for 14 years and loved it! So… would this be a good RX-8 replacement?

I like the fact that Hyundai went with 18" tires with some sidewall since this is the XRT which is a soft roader not an off roader. Not like Mazda's CX 50 which went with 20" on their so called off road package. The only negative to that is it looks like there is no actual spare tire, if I take it to the lake and go thru some sand trails to have a wiener roast in the bush, I want a real spare not an air pump and a bottle of Slime. A tree root can definitely ruin your day when there is no spare. For me living in the country on gravel roads, this is a deal breaker. The style is definitely a polarizing look, you either like it or you don't. Very similar to a Ford Flex and that didn't age well or end of selling well. The bad end is a disaster and hard on the eyes in my opinion, but it's an either love it or hate it look. I wish they'd ditch the DCT and give it a normal automatic which have a better reliability history. Hyundai has had some beautiful styled vehicles, this one they really went out there, it's a totally different look, that doesn't look like anything else in their lineup.
@JimmyMak
@JimmyMak 20 күн бұрын
@@barrynordstrom331 you can get the cx-50 with the 18s as well! But it totally get what you mean an actual spare would be so much better.

The Volvo has a reputation for safety and durability that Mercedes can't match. I much rather buy the Volvo V90 Cross Country. Mercedes interior trim is very plasticity and just doesn't feel like a real Mercedes Benz quality interior.

Nah good riddance! You really don't need to wast time on the useless Audi Allroad Quattro. All Audi Allroad wagons are designed to spend 90% at the dealership service station anyways and the other 10% stranded on the side of the road! Mercedes and Volvo are true wagon builders they're both safer sturdier and stronger than the weak and fragile Audi Allroad!

When it comes to turbo engines, just do your regular maintenance and it'll last, got me a 22 Ranger with 80,000 miles (yes I drive alot for work) with zero issues, just get your oil changed and fluids checked within regular intervals and it'll last. I have heard horror stories about turbos only to find out the oil wasn't changed for 35 K miles.

Mazda 3 hatch the blind spot view is horrendous also the rear seating is too cramped for taller individuals, cargo space is limited and the rotary knob/dial infotainment system is outdated in 2024 and has a learning curve for each new driver. Honestly wouldn't recommend this vehicle. Nice review........
