Hi. Great video! In the get() video, you populated text fields (Name and City) with the results. Can you give me a clue on how to do that with the ()query? So that I can match the name and city field in my dataset to the Name and City texts

When me repeated populates in the preview lots of things move around ruining the design of the page. How can I make it so only necessary elements move to make space

Can this apply to a whole range of elements or only repeaters? I’m very new on this journey and have a very complicated website goal on Wix! The API I want to use allows someone to input and address and results in a humongous json file, of which I only want a selected amount of information with a series of parameters, and each type of information to then be displayed in specific ways (maps, graphs, graphics, text etc). Is this even possible? How do I start? 😂 😭

My site has 0 value items, if you checkout with them it doesn't take you through any payment provider. You jump from the address input page to the thankyou screen.

I was actually thinking the same word as some of the bellow comments "confusing" I appreciate your video, but many times you show options to select...you read them all in the drop down menu, that's is what we see and can read as well...then you say I select this one and now I start having question...why you selected that one...what are the other two...what is the difference. You don't explain the individual items and I think that's where the confusion kicks in. I believe there is many ppl who are trying to learn this from scratch....and watching this video may not always help, but confuse. I also noticed, it is easy to get lost in the clicking / connecting as it happened to you. Now, imagine what will happen to the people trying to do after watching this video. No offense ...it needs more details when creating the database and connecting it to the web and dynamic pages etc...thank you anyway for the effort.

Hi, Eitan! I can't remember the last time I left a comment on KZbin and that's largely due to your thoroughness and thoughtfulness when planning/publishing a tutorial. You also have a gift in delivery of your tutorial. This hallmark is shared by the efforts and seen in the examples of other creators as well, but for me, you're always my go-to and my first stop on any topic I'm researching and what I should know. Thank you for your keen eye, approachability, and time sharing your passion with vulnerability (live coding?! you're a beast!). You always hit on hot topics and deliver them so well. So, here I go, and hopefully it helps others with the same dilemma, too. Sometimes Wix's "Velo Examples" and other creators' KZbin tutorials are ... a bit ... too universal / general, so much so that they can sometimes miss the mark. Then, you'll find what you need elsewhere, only delaying the inevitable. For example, some tutorials (again, not yours) miss the mark by not submitting the info to a collection or showing the full lifecycle of a function, especially when a site member is submitting something to collection (and showing it on their profile). I've been coding 7+ years professionally, so I'm fine (except for this one issue detailed below), but what about others? I recognize the need to make things universal and it goes hand in hand, equally in my opinion, with the level of accountability one must have for one's own learning (or simply hire someone) along with knowing and referencing the API ad nauseum, and not being afraid to test an idea. That's not me. I'm kinda stumped and perhaps others are, too. Le sigh... MY SUGGESTION/IDEA One topic I haven't seen a lot of over the last few years (nothing really) are any tutorials that show how one might use one or more of the existing three (3) Wix Members APIs to carry out updating the currentMember. It seems straightforward, until it stops working (sometimes it's good, others not so much). This seems so fundamental and my inability to get it consistently updated does link to potential issues down the road when a Wix Site Member (using a mobile app, branded app) is seeing the disparity between what's on their desktop and what's on their mobile device or in the Wix Spaces/Fitness app. Just in case context is helpful, please see below. Should you consider doing a tutorial on this, many thanks in advance :) You're my first stop and using my last. Bravo on a job [always] well done! CONTEXT Basically, a custom page-and, particularly one that could replace any need for Wix's "My Account" private page. The hypothetical custom page would private, but not in the Wix Member's app (so it would appear in the standard Site Menu). It has to allow a site member to update their information (currentMember.getMember()) with field values from a form such as the one described in this post. Without giving a super specific Use-Case, I've come up with the following. My site is in 6 languages, the languages I coach in which I teach roller skating, so everything is custom for me, down to 6x the emails and automations. Hopefully the following bulleted list can provide coverage of what covers mine and hopefully all others' UCs. Each is unique and has caused me to create workarounds as I went along in my custom Member Onboarding process The currentMember will be able to read and update their: • Profile photo • Cover photo • firstName • lastName • nickname • title • username (has to check to see if available first) • someExtendedField1 (Text); For example: My Sports (I'm a roller sports coach) • someExtendedField2 (Text): My Language(s) • someExtendedField2 (URL) example: my LinkTree • privacyStatus (especially from PRIVATE to public, but ideally they can also set their public profile to private) • Read, Create, Update, or Delete an Address Encore merci ! :) PS: Feel free to let me know if anything is unclear. This is absolutely the WORST website builder in my whole 6+ years in building websites! Love your video, it is great, so nothing against you. Where can I leave a review for the wix platform? In The cms member/FullData i added a hook after update that never call when a site member update their info. But hook is called when admin update. Is there any way to call hook in member fulldata by site member?

Wow! Definitely yes for more custom elements, and it would be very cool if we could create a custom repeater and populate it with data from the CMS. I recently watched your Udemy course on repeaters, queries, etc., and loved it!

Note: When creating custom elements in Blocks you may need to use this alternate syntax for declaring the observed attributes: static get observedAttributes() { return ["color", "size"]; }

Hi Eitan, I noticed an issue with the dasboard it shows only one users data but only works if there is only one user in the database, we need to use the owner_id to show the data of the logged in user

Hi! Is there any option to filter the typos in the input? So for example if customers want to search for books and they write boks or something similar, I would like to filter this and appear all the "books" in the output (repeater etc.). I saw something like fuzzy with WixSearch but I don't understand how that filter is working tbh. Thank you!
