i lived with my parents throughout/after college so didn’t have to worry about rent / living costs. Also, i don’t travel, rarely go out so don’t have much personal expenses. Because of this, i was able to save a lot of my income for the past 5+ years! (but i also did get a loan/mortgage) As for financial strategy / mindset & steps, i honestly can’t really help bc my mom helped me with that stuff. she’s an accountant so i just listen to whatever she tells me when it comes to my finances 😅 buying vs rent: within the first few months of living at my apartment, i already knew i hated it / regretted it. Bc i lived with my parents post-college / my siblings had all moved out, i got the whole upstairs for a few years so moving to a smaller space was a hard adjustment. Also, i hated that i couldn’t make changes to the apartment if there was something that i didn’t like. I don’t plan to sell for a longggg time since i hate moving but who knows what the future holds :)

Hey! Just to clarify, this was an integrated sponsorship, meaning the rest of the video was already planned and filmed before the sponsorship came through. It would’ve been posted either way, just without the sponsored portion. I know it might feel repetitive since most of my recent sponsors have been with Walmart, but that’s simply because the other brands I work with tend to prefer my Instagram or TikTok content. KZbin is much more time-consuming to produce and edit-especially since I don’t have an editor-and without sponsorships, it’s harder to justify the time since I don’t earn from AdSense. That’s something many creators deal with, which is why you may have noticed a lot of OG KZbinrs have shifted to other platforms like TikTok and IG over the past few years. That said, I totally understand the feedback / dislike for the dedicated sponsored videos which is why I opted for an integrated sponsor this time. I consume KZbin content too, and I personally don’t mind sponsored content if it’s integrated and skippable, but I get that not everyone feels the same. I did mention in a previous comment a few weeks ago that i’ll try to be better about bringing back more of my older content (like Pinterest recreations, non-sponsored hauls, etc.) I still plan to do that. November has just been a crazy month-I’m still in the process of moving, my dog is dealing with some health issues (i have to watch him 24/7 & can only leave the house if i can get someone to watch him), and the last two vlogs took much longer to edit than expected (my vision + neck problems make editing take way longer than it used to). I say this not to sound like i’m complaining, but just to provide some context on why I didn’t get around to posting one of those this month. Will try again in December! Thanks for your patience and understanding-it really means a lot!

It is a minimal sponsor and you can skip everything with two clicks on the screen, and if you don't like videos with sponsors you can go watch thousands of other videos on KZbin, you don't have to be so mean to people who didn't do you any harm

I totally understand your point, and I agree-no one *needs* this much clothing, and it's definitely not my intention to make anyone feel like they need to own as much as I do. I’m a content creator, specifically in the fashion space, so most of the items you see in my closet are part of my “work closet.” These pieces have been gifted to me by brands over the years, which is a common part of my job. I actually have a separate, smaller closet for personal use when I’m not filming or working, and that’s where my everyday clothes go. Also, no one has pointed this out yet, but I’m sure it will eventually come as i got many comments on TikTok asking why I have so many of the same item. This is because of exclusivity / non-compete rules when working with brands. Example: if I’m working with “Brand A,” I can’t wear a black mini skirt that I already own from “Brand B” as the full outfit needs to be from “Brand A”. But I completely get that having a large wardrobe isn't necessary for everyone, and I definitely don’t want to suggest that it is. It's all part of my job, and I just wanted to share that context. 😊

okay i will try to be better! What kind of videos would you be interested in? I used to make videos that I enjoyed watching from other creators, but tbh i barely watch YT now other than book reviews, mukbangs & rotten mango lol The only fashion related videos i watch now on YT are hauls if i need a review/more details, but when it comes to getting outfit inspo, i do not have the attention span to watch a YT video (i barely can get through a tiktok even on 2X speed 😅) So now, I mainly watch fashion content on pinterest or reels/tiktok But I know everyone is different, so what kind of content are y’all still into watching on YT? I know a lot of y’all always say vlogs but my life is soooo boring, i am super introverted & never leave my house so they would all be home vlogs..
