I don't think the conduct of the minister is the issue. I think the issue is whether we believe mixing tradition with Christianity is deadly to the faith of a a christian. If a deadly which has no cure like ebola was infecting the a city, the medical practitioners cannot tone down their warnings to honor any rule so anyone so also a minister of God cannot honor any man when issues that are critical to the eternal destiny and survival of our faith is concerned. The history of Israel in the bible clearly shows that it's deadly to mix Christianity with practices associated with idol worship and the God of the bible. They had polluted their religion to the extent that couldn't recognize that Jesus was from God and killed him because he didn't regard their traditions. There are a lot of issues that he addressed that would take long to adequately explain the short time he had to speak. I think Yoruba Christians should establish an organization or body to help us determine which traditions to keep and which ones to disregard.
