Brian Johnson hat eine unglaubliche Stimme ! Kein Wunder das er der Nachfolger von Bon Scott bei AC/DC wurde. Es gab damals keinen besseren Sänger !

Can it be confirmed that the lead guitarist is M.Bennison i have just discovered this video 25/6/2024 and by his looks and mannerisms he is the double of the late Newcastle UK musician Dave Black. ?.

now this was a band heavily influenced by The Residents & takes me back to the beginning of my musical career with vocalist Dave Cairns, bassist Tony Waite & guitarist Pete Casson accompanying lyricist & drummer Cess Pitt a.k.a keef sharp. Don't know how this track (recorded at our own Turnpike Lane studio in 1981 after moving down from Hartlepool) ended up on this album but thanks for posting it - brings back so many memories of when I was a youthful "cockney" bastard! Wicked sense of humour, mefinx...

One of the best bands of the mid/late 70s. After Music this is their best track but seems to be the only live one out there. Criminally overlooked these days.

I still count The Rye at York Arts Centre in 1992 as one of the best gigs I've ever seen (alongside Neil Young, Kate Bush, U2 etc). At their pomp they were incendiary - I'm amazed they were never bigger.
