That's better, but like all chameleons needs solid colour resin preferably black to really make it pop, good to have you back though 😅😅
@michelleleighton69864 сағат бұрын
To get the actual effect of the chameleon color, you need to either burnish the chameleon powder directly into the mold, then pour in black resin, or, you can mix up black resin and mix in a good amount of the chameleon powder into the resin. The best way to do it is the first way, but both will give you an actual chameleon effect, unlike what you got here.

Love your honesty, and its fun to watch you "f" up and discover the f up is not as bad as you think. I have noticed this powder seems to be made for the back or underneath side of the object or a middle layer ... seems to look best with clear over top looking through the clear layer to the powder layer with a darker color understand if you want the full effect, lighter colors under the powder layer gives a more subtle look ... Keep tossing shit ... ! ... i love it ! .... Ps the only " true fail " is to never try something...

A switching sponge (sold for cleaning makeup brushes) , or any coarse sponge, is how to clean your brushes. Pineapple juice and honey mix is good for colds. Bela, you know I'm a no nonsense shoot straight from the hip old woman, and my advice? For those that criticize a person's technique, tools, components, mouth, etcetera, without offering solutions in a respectful manner, there's always the option to see your way out the door, as well as using that wonderful tool yt gives you to block a channel. Being mean is a choice, it's not a privilege, and tells more about that person than the person they're intending to hurt. Love is the greatest power we have. Big hugs 🫂 Bela ❤

It's available on Amazon and isn't very expensive, and you get two for the price. All you do is wash the black sponge inside, and then you air dry it out they last for years.

What you did with it was the epic fail....Mixing the chameleon powder INTO the resin is a complete waste. If you look at other videos you will see it is used as a surface treatment on the mold, brushed on and burnished before resin is added, and usually black or a plain opaque pigment or opaque pearl mica color similar to the chameleon powder is mixed into the resin which creates an opaque backing. Whir or light backing resin will give you more of a MOP looking surface. For best results use a shiny mold with some level of detail for contrast to get the best color shift display.

Dooooood! I LOVE your video style! You sound like me! LOL. Well.. except I don't have the sexy accent or sound like a man. Anyway, some comments... 1. It is so cool that you also notice the way the colour pour into the cup formed in the clear, and put the camera on there. That was badass! 2. That was WAY too much powder or that amount of resin! LOL. I was yelling at you (AKA my screen) when you did it, like, "Gaaaahhh! Dude! NOOOO". 3. Also, as another commenter mentioned, the chameleon powders are made to brush onto the mould, and then pour in OPAQUE (not clear - though I guess you could use clear for a more subtle effect?) epoxy (or whatever) resin to get the colour effect on the jar. I had to learn that as well when I first started using chameleon powders. Also, brushing it on means you can make patterns or have different parts of the product different colours, etc, and it works with any mica, not just chameleon. 4. I hope you will do another test of that same powder with the brush on technique so we can get the true test, and also show us the finished product from this video! 5. If you put the lid back on the jar and shake the fuck out of it, it should take those lumps out. Otherwise, just crush up the lumps with your stick and it will be fine. 6. I will now subscribe and watch more of your videos!

Interesting reaction, really weird. I've never used chameleon powder in resin but I've seen chameleon paste which I might try. I've looked at this on Temu but not bought it. No chameleon powder I've seen looked wet like that stuff, however it would be fine brushed on the mold. It will be interesting to see the final cured tray to see if there's any colour shift in it! Funny how you say your resin takes months to fully cure. I know any resin takes about a month to do so, but not months. However I don't agree with your 20% leeway Bela, but then again I've never used Dipon. We can'tget that brand in New Zealand. I've found I need to keep my A and B very close otherwise it won't harden off properly....or at all! I wonder if your summer heat has anything to do with it. I had a shaped bowl that sat in the sun for only about 30 minutes and it started to flatten out again, but it was only a couple of weeks made and its summer here so it was hot.
@AeginaCraftКүн бұрын
Next vid Imma show off the result, its tottaly different now lol. I did exessive testing on dipon you can go up to 20% on part B and you still get a good cure so I adjust it basted on the climate to get a good cure. Epoxy takes months to copletely harden and become solid even in direct sunlight. Every epoxy starts curing fast and slows down. Tp achive its final hardness it will take months. Every single polimer resin. No exeptions. Anyways good to see you! <3

@KhaosWolfKat23 сағат бұрын
@@stadthaus.7266 Get a cheap set of makeup brushes and use those. If you are going for all the same colour, just go over every bit of the surface of the mould. It doesn't take much at all of the powder. It goes a LONNNNG way! Even if it doesn't look like it is coated, if there was powder on the brush and you brushed the mould, it is good. Trust the process. And use opaque resin to pour in. Most use black, but you can also use white or really any other colour. The pigment pastes are good for that and cheap, cause for like an entire 8 oz of resin, you only need like a couple drops of paste to fully colour it solid.
