If you haven't figured it out I'm one of those guys who can't wait until the end of the video before commenting. Anyway that international did you notice that is just a stationary driver's seat. Ouch my back is already hurting because of it. I spent a fair bit of my 30 plus years career in heavy truck dealerships and International was one of them and because of that I know what they ride like. Just in case you didn't know. They are not the best truck but it's not the greatest neither.

There is the size of engine in the top of the heads and the number for the engine is over the starter 289 , 302 , 351 all very good engines .
@BigOMotorsАй бұрын
Awesome info! I’ll check it out, Thank you!
@ericmjunker7883Ай бұрын
I would have extended the firewall, instead of the hood. that would not affect the weight of the hood to open. And there is large gap between the engine and the firewall that doesn't need to be exposed to service the engine regularly.
@BigOMotorsАй бұрын
Not a bad idea. I might do that if this doesn’t turn out. I’ve got to do some metal work to the cab anyway so that may be another route.

I'm thinking someone had a 27 chevy title and built a body to simulate one kind off. Looks pretty homemade to me. A 27 chevy would be narrower I think. Pretty cool car should be fun. That 289/302 would give it plenty of power
@BigOMotorsАй бұрын
Very true. The wide body was one of the things I liked about. It is metal but it should be a fun ride when she gets going.

You're correct. There's zero '27 Chev about that body. It's all home spun. Maybe the frame is '27 Chev? It's fuctup looking. Cool factor is at a deficit.

First off, I believe I would research the vin., to make sure my investment was secure. Nothing wrong with a replacement engine in it, as long as the paper work was legit. Then I.D. the engine. Then decide what tranny to use. Maybe try what the last owner suggested first?? If that works?? See if I can get it insured?? If yes? Lets have fun with it till another good trade comes along!! Lol
@BigOMotorsАй бұрын
Awesome suggestions! I do haver a clear title on it. There was also some previous paperwork that supports the title. Great ideas!
@brocluno01Ай бұрын
They put the Ford in there so they could have a front mounted distributor. So if you are goiung to drop something into it, try a 383 Chrysler with a TQ-Flyte 😁
@BigOMotorsАй бұрын
Oh that's a cool thought. I think you're right on the distributor.
