Tulum ist already downshifting!.🌚🙈💥 Totally overpriced Real Estate Market!. Anywhere infrastructures for wastewater/blackwater. All ! Cenotes are polluted. Scientific proven!. Tulum is a sewage dump🥶 Everywhere dirty!. If you leave your often beautiful designed resorts round the edge it’s everywhere awful dirty, dirty….dirty . Nobody cares for it . The headquarter and governments are unable to solve the huge problems of Tulum. Greedy locals, greedy business people, greedy international hotel chaines which don’t care for the future 🙈 Very high crime rates.🌚⚰️⚰️⚰️ It starts with greedy criminal taxidrivers, robberies up to killing holidaymakers at beach clubs !🙈 They‘re destroying your concerns about but they are lying all the time. 👉Don‘t believe them, never!!!. 👉 Carry on You‘ll find much better places to invest your money elsewhere round Mexico. Unfortunately the nice and comfortable Mexicans have to pay for this insane greed. It‘s a pidy.. Title for Tulum: Greed eats brain.

I was under the impression that lock off units had separate entrances so that 2 people/families could reside there independently with regards to maybe a shared washer/dryer in a connected hall or something. This looks as though they would share a common area. I am new to hearing about the lock off design, but from some other videos I've seen, it is set up differently. Are there different types of lock off units?

this unit has a lock off for one of the bedrooms so you can enjoy your unit with 1 of the bedrooms as well as kitchen, living room, etc and the other bedroom you could rent out like a hotel room.

Beautiful homes. And well presented by the hosts. I would choose the penthouse. But they are both way overpriced. It's getting ridiculous here. Puerto Aventuras is really not that special.

I agree with the person below, the sargassum is a problem esp when your paying this kind of money for a condo. I think of renting the place... with the seagrass and long walk to the beach and I am uncertain.....

the sargassum comes and goes depending on the season. If you look at the beaches in the Riviera Maya right now they are clear. What is "lock-off"? Is that a new word for "Timeshare"?

Good morning and thanks for the great question. This is in no way a timeshare. The condo can be used as a full 2 bedroom or because you can lock it off, used as a 1 bedroom plus studio so you can maximize rentability. As an example, if you wanted you could stay in the 1 bedroom portion and rent out the studio to bring in income. The renters would not have access to your part of the unit.
