I’ve watched this clip dozens of times, and it’s still just as hilarious as the first time. I love Ron Perlman

I became an obsessed fan in 1981 when I was 11. I'm 54 now & just saw them live in May. Phenomenal concert! Simon's voice has never aged - he hit every high note & vocal run. John, Roger & Nick are incredible musicians. We danced our asses off the whole night & I truly was 14 again. Best night ever!!!

Todd and the Raspberries were both recorded at the same studio at the same time - Todd heard their song - I saw the light and then wrote a completely different son with that title !

Rundgren released "Something/Anything" in Feb. 1972, whereas the Raspberries released "I can remember" on their debut album in April 1972. I believe any plagiarism on the part of Eric Carmen was purely unintentional. Cristopher Cross (I don't know about).

This interview sums up Nick he didn't like Led zeppelin and didn't listen to them but it took an America to do it even though both bands came from the same city.

A brilliant interview at beginning of a new DD era and in a new decade. Warren was the major influence during this period. Loved Simon’s explanation of Ordinary World. He was definitely irritated by this interviewer! The Wedding Album still my favourite album!

I swear, every time I watch a video and read an article about Duran Duran both old and new, I learn something new each time. In addition, learning more about what the band said in past interviews, makes me realize how unrecognizable they are from 4 decades ago. Duran Duran prided themselves on being apolitical and not caring for drugs. Both ships have been sailed once they became famous. Drug abuse is expected anyway, regarding entertainers, but I expected Duran Duran to be different. I mostly say that about the band jumping on the political bandwagon, especially here in America over the last 13 years. Duran Duran prided themselves on escapism and didn't want to be another self-righteous, political activist band like the others in England 4 decades ago. Now, they are. To make matters worse, "Too Much Information" could explain why MTV and traditional radio stations don't play anything Duran Duran released after "Come Undone" from 1993 and beyond. Call me crazy, but I think Duran Duran got blacklisted here in America, after the American Entertainment Industry made them famous. Yup, they definitely bit the hands that fed them. Now, Simon Le Bon has the audacity to complain to Jennifer Aniston in an interview about how fans don't buy albums anymore and make less money because of online streaming, when their Future Past album released 2 months ago.

I was never a huge fan of Simon’s 1993 look, but seems so handsome here and the way he delicately stares at the interviewer during questions. Though he does seem slightly coked or high at some points here, lmao.. Brilliant interview however, thank you for sharing!!

He said Chinese tea culture has existed for thousands of years, and that she knows fuck all about it. Judging from her accent I agree, though it's comprehensible and the tones are correct. She then recites a very famous and beautiful poem and ruins it. I Love climbing stork tower, it's an absolutely brilliant poem. But I truly hate this recitation of it because she is then portrayed as triumphant blah blah blah because she knows a poem that literally EVERY twelve year old Chinese person knows. Before the meeting, in French, her friend assures her she will do fine, she is nervous.
