Goddamn, that runway is as smooth as back in '98, when I used to take regular flights out of Lagos to Zurich! XD Fine memories on these Swissair MD-11 tho.
@jennymurphy97275 ай бұрын
Wait swissair flew to lagos, i never knew,i have lots of questions how was the airport looking like back in the 1990s and what other airlines flew there and what planes did you see. I live in lagos
@philippetremblay9065 ай бұрын
@@jennymurphy9727 oh yeah, we almost always flew Swissair back then into Lagos (95'-98')! Swissair used MD-11s back then 😍 The other big European ones were there too (AF, BA, Lufthansa, Iberia) as well as the usual African ones - Air Afrique, SAA, air Gabon, egyptair... The most memorable were the wacko domestic Nigerian airlines though... like ADC airlines, we took to go to Abuja... sometimes the seats didn't have seatbelts on these old 727s 😅 Nigerian had such a bad rep back then we never took them once I think. 2/3 of their fleet looked grounded with only the tired 737s flying
@jennymurphy97275 ай бұрын
@@philippetremblay906 wow interesting tell me more please,even iberia wow why did they stop flying to lagos

If the world has an asshole, Lagos is it. The best part of having to be there is the flight out.
