It’s the simple things like being able to make something (relatively) basic like a grill yourself with some tools. The feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction when using it 👌 I’m a young maintenance technician myself and just taught myself to weld a few weeks ago (an experienced coworker later even taught me to TIG weld). Opens a whole new world of fabricating possibilities! Can’t wait to build my own small workshop when I live alone!

I just started tying jigs for bluegill. Need a little help on what size jig and hook to use prefer 1/16 ounce but not sure on the right size hook everything I see has a hook that is too big. Thank you.

Howdy Eric you will do a much better job of baking your jigs if you hang them by the eye instead of by the hook No more nipples on the top of the jigs !! Don’t ask me how I know that!!!!

I'm just starting to do this, can you have too much heat? Not sure if that's my problem or not. I can never get a perfect flat finish. I don't have the bed I just dip in the can. Also right now I'm just doing blades for crawler harnesses. Thanks
