Very interesting, this is the playstation version? I had the 360 version and endurance had tire wear so even without hitting anything you had to pit every like 12 laps or else you'd have 0 traction. The timing was more challenging too, so I only ever got to lap ~75 because there was also a mechanic to give an extra second whenever you hit a cone, and one run I hit them onto the track so I got a few extra seconds every lap.

I feel that half barriers should never be used and that all barriers should be the full width type. My reason? Something about Human psychology when there is a gap to drive through (it's tempting) made worse by impatience when there's a long wait. The barrier can still be spring loaded to allow a car to drive through the barrier if trapped on the line. P.S. The tempting bit reminds me of when the toilet bowl was being replaced at work leaving the Cistern and outlet tube intact with the Cistern still full of water. Someone said how it was tempting to operate the Cistern's flush although it would flood the room.

I’ve seen this advert hundreds of times. The car’s dashboard clearly shows insufficient oil. A scenario that could easily be avoided by simply pulling up the dipstick, wiping it off, dipping it and inspecting the oil level. Or by getting an old Trabant, as they have 2 stroke engines, meaning the oil and fuel are mixed together upon refuelling.

Rather tasteless when their death trap 'Smart Motoways' are killing people. The hard shoulder is just a fourth lane, so you have to get to the refuge area, now if your car conks out away from the “refuge area”, what do you do?, clutch some rosary beads and hope you don’t get ârśeshûntéd by a dooshka in a 44 ton twat crusher?

Smart motorways= death traps waiting to happen My thoughts are with those who lost loved ones and then have to endure this senseless advert Whoever sanctioned these this advert should be sacked and those who bright idea gave us smart motorways should be held responsible and charged with every death that occurs on them

A cynical attempt to try andconvince us that "smart" motorways are safe. What is it going to take to convince the government that they are far from safe?

In the absence of any better quality KZbin's of this ridiculous advert, I will just say this. Who is this advert targeted at? Anyone who doesn't know to get to the emergency lane on a motorway when their car breaks down shouldn't have a driving licence and therefore shouldn't even be on the road! Yeah. If you've just paid your ten year 'renewal fee' (since the DVLA introduced photocards), this is where your money is going.

My head keeps crossing this ad with the sharwoods go east 🤦🏼♀️ my mind goes “go left indicators on, go left Chinese Indian Thai, go left there’s so much to try” would’ve been a great way to remember what to do on a motorway if it wasn’t for the mashup
@benconnolly42583 жыл бұрын
funnily enough you don’t decide were your car breaks down, if it breaks down in lane 1 between the 2 safety zones that’s were it will stop.

“Go left at the next junction” yeah alright, I can definitely somehow carry on driving if I break down. It’s hard enough at times trying to coast into a hard shoulder, so pissin good luck trying to stop safely when there isn’t one. No wonder people are killed on these sodding “”smart”” motorways.
@coltaylordyath51803 жыл бұрын
No. It doesn't say go left "at the next junction". It says go left (and hope there is an emergency phone nearby, they are usually within walking distance).
@fergieson323 жыл бұрын
@@coltaylordyath5180 it specifically does say the next junction 😂 The lyrics are: Go left Indicators on Go left At the next junction Go left Find an emergency phone I think it's literally saying do what you can. If you can pull off the main roads at a junction to pull over safely then do so. If you have to pull into a hard shoulder for the emergency phone then do that. Be aware of your options really 🤷♀️

Road safety ads in the Uk have always been a bit bizarre but as th advert says Go Left Jump the barrier call 999, no different to breaking down on a dual carriageway A road like the A14, & for the most part there is no overhead gantries to warn/slow of danger,

I remember being traumatized as a kid when they would do the speeding/drunk driving (I can't remember which one) and it would show children getting crushed by a car. This must be the STUPIDEST advert on television, if the driver is too feckin stupid to pull to hard shoulder then they shouldn't be driving in the first place. And if it's aimed at foreign drivers, then the foreigners shouldn't be on our roads if they don't know OUR RULES.
