Thanks! These were just the cheapest ones on Amazon that had colour changing and a remote. They are strips of light that are supposed to go behind your TV. I believe it was $12!

I cut the strip. They have little lines where you’re allowed to cut. That being said I have a few rolls of “excess” lights that I now need to solder together or they’re useless 😂

A smartwatch app showing printer progress is very cool! I have such a thing for my phone. Sadly my smartwatch has social anxiety and wont connect to any other device and prefers to stay offline with preset watchfaces and apps only.

@@that3dprinterguy yes, its so handy to not need to be at the printer to know and see its progress. I do have to look for issues myself but luckily all my problems start at the first layer, never halfway. I am lucky the wifi still works in random times so the time can keep itself accurate.

@@that3dprinterguy an ender 3 v2. Definately dont recommend it haha. Maintenance cost has cost me almost the price of a new one and its not a year old yet

Bro sry bout your finger but im 3d printing rn (b1 battle droid) and I was legit removing tree supports, and sliced the same finger, on the same hand, in almost the same spot, as you. Those things are surprisingly sharp 😮
