Carrier 411 doesn’t help anyone nowadays, its there to bully carrier companies… when market is good, no broker uses it against carriers

A company in Sweden says that there is a difference between biodiesel and renewable diesel, that they are not the same thing
@AndersljungbergКүн бұрын
It's controversial to make diesel on palm and soybeans, isn't it?
@AndersljungbergКүн бұрын
It seems that there are different types of renewable diesel. As for HVO, some say that they get better performance in the car, others that they get worse performance in the car. but maybe it depends on the car's mapping? maybe especially if the car is not made for the high cetane content?
@AndersljungbergКүн бұрын
In Sweden, renewable diesel (HVO100) is a made by of vegetable oil. is also made on animal fat. but not all cars are approved. does not follow the Diesel standard in Europe. Due to slightly lower density

The FedEx contractor model smells of a Ponzi scheme. People go into six or seven figure debt to contractually own their own territory and the language in the contract specifically states FedEx is under no obligation to renew it. FedEx can violate the contract or not live up to the contract at any time it wants with no punishment but if a contractor/ISP violates a clause they can be terminated or lose their exclusive renegotiation rights or just not get renewed and end up bankrupt or forced into a quick sale, not that they pay good in the first place because they usually don't and that's why the actual delivery drivers don't make squat. The correct way to have done this is for FedEx to have sold the contracts to entrepreneurs from the beginning with the guarantee that they get that money back with growth from FedEx should they retire, move on, or be terminated. So, if somebody contracts for them for 10 years if they leave they should get more for the contract sale than they originally purchased it for while it would be expected whoever is taking over the contract would return that payout to FedEx. This way you are only in it for the cost of equipment at expiration and whatever money you spent on the contract you know you'll get back in the end with some growth tied to how well the company did instead of being in it for the cost of equipment and the non guaranteed contract that you paid big money for.

Why is this industry forcing autonomous vehicles on the trucking industry ? Truckers that do OTR wouldn’t have a problem with OTR if companies would pay right but you rather spend more money to eliminate humans for your own selfish desires. Your technology won’t last. Can’t no autonomous vehicles beat humans. We’ve been around longer and will forever be here when most if not all of your machines (human replacements)are gone.

Rick has pocketed about 92% of my investment. His message sure has changed compared to company earnings reports. A couple of years ago he sounded like orders were pouring in and they were just waiting on parts. Now he’s talking about consolidation and hoping to get financing. He’s tapped out of the public stock market. I hope he enjoyed my hard earned money!

I’m still invested in this company. This video shows a huge improvement over one I saw a few years ago where it looked like some bubbas working on a project in their home garage. Still, very lethargic. Should probably edit out the part where the ladies are masking for paint. That’s not how the big boys do it. Cmon.

We are the only other country that thinks seat belts are stupid. The other is in the Middle East. I am for natural selection so go ahead and don't wear one. Its like the guy or girl on the 500 pound bagger in shorts and a tank top and fuggin flip flops. Those will all come off in the event of a wreak.

Hey guys. My thoughts on the cameras. The outward and side facing cameras are great. The inward facing cameras should be only for out of school drivers and drivers with bad driving records. The inward cameras doesn’t help drivers with good driving records. It just micromanage them to be able to get rid of them at will.

We need all these engine sensors gone, Peterbilt 579’s suck due to their low coolant sensors that shut you down in the middle of the road, and it makes the word reliable, irrelevant.
@kevinfreyre157612 күн бұрын
Trucks need to be more reliable like how they were back in the day and maintain good fuel efficiency, without the def,egr,scr systems that cut the life of all semi truck engines and increase the costs for the owner.
@ftworthgent12 күн бұрын
Do daily pre-trip inspection and inspect the truck throughout the day.. you'll catch coolant leaks...
@kevinfreyre157612 күн бұрын
@@ftworthgent of course that’s not what I’m referring to, I’m referring to the sensors that suck. They shutdown your truck and make them unreliable.

Yes I’ve been in my lane and due to the road being re striped the Bendex alarm goes crazy. Also I’ve had the brakes come on with nothing in front of me and sometimes when a vehicle passes me and jumps in front of me no alarm goes off. It’s a good idea but I wouldn’t say it makes us safer.
@ftworthgent11 күн бұрын
@@kevinfreyre1576Got it! When I ordered my truck it was intentionally spec'd without any safety devices such as Bendix Wingman. There's no benefit from a legal perspective! A driver in Atlanta Ga that was rear ended by a hot dogging driver in a 4 wheeler off I75 and was in intensive care and survived even though he's paralyzed for life when he was in the wrong for reckless driving won a $15 million dollar civil settlement because the truck driver didn't hit his brakes when the system on his truck told him to!!! Lawyer argued that the truck drivers brake reaction time was too slow and the jury went along with it!

It’s intentional. They will periodically not resupply their broker/vendors so that end users have to order from them directly. Every major nicotine co does this
