If you want to get shotty and the railgun just run for the shotty but place a orange/purple portal up on the cube next to the railgun this way if your opponents are slow you will have two of the power weapons giving your team a big advantage. If the rest of you team are pushing for shotty and railgun, you can grab the BR at top spawn which you can use to cover your teammates while they get the other power weapons.

I personally like having jump on left bumper, crouch in right bumper. A for right portal (yellow portal) and B for left Portal (Purple portal) that way I have a very fine aim for portals and I have quick movement through the maps. What I would like to get for console is portal quality, I don’t like that "wavy" effect on portals because sometimes I can’t see really well through them, and I also like a clear portal where you see everything clear and not "wavy".

There's a portal play you missed. If you spawn middle or to the right or left (depending on which side you're on) you can jetpack for a second and hit a back portal wall then triple portal once to their base. Hard to explain it but that's why I love Charlie

Yep these would be helpful if every time I opened a portal anywhere at all, check to see if anyones there and then jump through and get shot from all angles didn’t happen every fucking time

6 months later and despite the power weapon spawns being somewhat different now this video was still super helpful.

Knowing the map is half the battle. I just picked up the game a few days ago and I’ll portal to somewhere on these simulation maps and lose all my bearings. You’re portalling to areas that are basically symmetrical but always know where you, your enemies, and your teammates are. Great job, gotta study the maps for myself
