hey! i will be an au pair in rome in january and you’re videos are helping me getting an idea of what i will be doing for the next 3 months! 😌 How did you meet with other au pairs, was it on facebook or something?

@@clarissefortin6584 highly recommend Facebook, that’s how I made friends in London! There’s def so many au pairs in Rome. If you’re host family had an au pair before you, I highly recommend asking her how she made friends. Usually in big cities, there’s already a group chat going.

If I’m being completely honest, I kind of think of it like talking to family members that live abroad. In the sense like I’m just catching up with them and telling them how my life’s been. I just think of it as a job interview, but just not as serious, and trying to show them what I’m actually like instead of trying to impress them. Hope this helps!

If you’re from the US we stay for 90 days and if you’re from Europe many people do a year au pairing! Hope this helps!

I would love for you to do a Q&A style video similar to the one you did in Italy on everything au pairing!! Specifically your experiences and more of an insider’s look at what it’s actually like. Because obviously social media is a highlight reel and there aren’t a whole lot of au pair KZbinrs out there. I’ve watched and loved all of your vids!! Love from Australia <3

Its probably the most beautiful city in the world i love Madrid, I recommend that the next time you return, visit a famous rooftop like Picalagartos or The roof of the Riu building has spectacular views of Madrid and you can have a drink with those views, Madrid is incredible and you really enjoy exploring the streets, they say it is the city of the eternal tourist because even if you live there you always discover some spectacular new place

Yup! Just a carry on and a backpack. Honestly Europe has so many brands and stores that aren’t in the US so if you end up buying more than you can bring you can always buy a suitcase and bring it back home with you.

Have the best time in Madrid!!!! Madrid has my heart ❤️ haha honestly it’s really lonely in the beginning but it gets better. Just bring a set of headphones and walk through the streets listening to your music. It will feel like a music video. There’s so many things to see and do in Madrid so you won’t get bored. Also there’s so many people so you’ll make lots of friends. Best of luck!

I mainly use my canon vixia hf r80 to film and my phone for photos. I don’t use a mic but I use VLLO to edit, it’s an app I highly recommend!

Hey, there was a group chat of au pairs in Imperia and that’s how I met everyone. I personally really liked Imperia because it’s close to France so you’re able to do day trips to the south of France. Most of us used AuPairWorld.com to find our families in Italy! Hope this helps:)
