Hello, I am 15 years old and built my finished my first kit i have no experience for tuning my car. I used to practice but never raced here at the track. I had rtr trophy rat by team associated but i wanted to get into it competitively I am planning in racing stock 10 scale buggy beginner class or what ever they have to match what i am sort of looking for. Seeing as they are rebuilding the track in a couple days i decided that i should wait just a little to put some practice in.

The Hobbywing stock esc/motor combo is a great bang for the buck. My local hobby uses this combo as their standard. Great deal and fast as any other. Also handles heat well. I'm sure you figured it out now, but check out tuning tips from pros like Spencer Rivkin, Team Losi, etc. Good stuff on YT for tuning. Good luck!

Love this type of filming Driver has the RC ipps always need to left right off every jump… I get it but bad habit to get into… will create unneeded crashes. Sick track and driving none the less… American sure loves the Tekno… just might be my next buggy of choice…

I don't know how my friend did it. But he converted one into a double engine. And that thing I'll tell you boys, it is fast. He runs it at the Honda. Corporate office in the city of Torrance, California. Sometimes they have racing shows there you guys should look it up. You might see him there 1 day.

We can't tell they have cool vintage trans am bodies when they're flying around the track. They may as well be touring cars of the respective stock motor turn. What's the point then? Same thing goes for USGT

I used to race those back in the 80's up to about '92. I raced a 1/8 scale Serpent Excel with a 6 port Rex. I belonged to a club on L.I., N.Y. back then. We had to race in parking lots. But we had a smooth lot. We set up out track using lumber and never had the same course twice. Our coursed were laid out at random and everyone had to learn the track on a new race day. We even had some team Associated racers in our club. They were a father and son. Those sure were some fun days, lots of $$$ spent on it. Getting up at 5 AM to travel to other tracks in CT. Or getting up early to set up our own track.
