Definitely my favorite trail up in LA. Not too far from Wrightwood. The trail is so beautiful and dangerous at the same time. It’s definitely an epic adventure ride on this trail.

Rode it in April a couple years back…we were totally soaked by all the water on the bushes..felt like a cup per branch, after a thousand branches that’s a lot of water 😎…it a good trail though!

The trail itself is called San Juan Capistrano in Orange County. This part of the trail is an almost 6miles of downhill from the Cocktail to the bottom where we park. I edit the ride to keep the video short.

It’s an old video. I edit it to make it shorter. At the time that we went there was a recent fire before that. Trail is so nice and flowy.

Yes. You can go from La Costa through Elfin Forest through Lake Hodges all the way to Los Penasquitos.. it’s about 50miles and 5700ft of climb. I did it last year. It’s pretty brutal especially climbing the technical sections of La Costa and Elfin Forest.

@@mtbjoser once a year they have a ride event called Archipelago ride. It starts at San Marcos all Mira Mesa. It goes through 4 different trails La Costa, Elfin Forest, Lake Hodges, Lusardi and Penasquitos.. Leg burner kinda day.. lol
