Why is this only a thing black women are subjected to? What about the men in rap? Why isn’t Eminem pressured to co-sign others/acknowledge them or have “male rap unity”. Why does she have to give up something she’s built from the ground up so it can be given to someone who doesn’t even understand the value of it? Y’all hate Nicki so much you can’t even see the bigger picture and what this means for women. Nicki is fighting powerful execs in the industry because they don’t want a black woman holding that much power and y’all are cheering it on, only for the industry to go on trapping these girls in bad contracts (which Nicki luckily didn’t sign, and that’s why they’re really mad). The hate for Nicki as a person really blinds y’all from seeing the things we need to talk about in that industry.
