Very nice. Especially the photo of the hanging Avicularia. In Cahuita National Park, Costa Rica, I witnessed a raid of army ants Eciton burcelli. They caught a gecko in front of my eyes, large Centruroides limbatus scorpions, cockroaches and other arthropods were falling from trees. Some escaped, some didn't. BUT: the army ants left an adult wandering spider Ancylometes bogotensis on the floor in peace after some brief contacts. That spider was certainly muss less hairy than a tarantula. Kasvisruokahan tappaa märehtijät sukupuuttoon, maaperä köyhtyy, eikä kasvistuotantokaan onnistu pitkän päälle pelkillä väkilannoitteilla ilman maaperän bakteereita ainakaan siinä määrin, että ruoka olisi ihmisille terveellistä aiheuttamatta ravinnepuutoksia. Maailma tarvitsee laiduntavia eläimiä paitsi, jos halutaan ihmiskunnan supistuvan 99%, joka sinällään tietenkin olisi luonnolle erinomainen asia, vaikkakin ihmiskunnalle tuhoisa.
