Fair warning, “Anylock” can work great… DEPENDING ON WHICH FEATURE YOUR ATTEMPTING TO USE AND ON WHICH DEVICE. The list of “compatible devices” on their main page is a joke and just about every “idevice” known to man is on it (this is how they duped me), THIS IS FAR FROM REALITY! This is a shady tactic deployed by them, falsely leading you to pay for their software and left to battle for a refund (which I’m currently attempting…). I’m inclined to mention “technically” they are not “lying” but in reality, it simply is not the truth. this “list” is very misleading because it is a list of all devices that are “compatible” WITH ALL OF THEIR FEATURES, COMBINED, IN ONE BIG LIST. Many of the ACTUALLY USEFUL FEATURES, that a majority of people have sought out and are willing to pay for, are ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH A VERY VERY SELECT AND SMALL NUMBER OF DEVICES. To further make things worse, this list gets even smaller if you’re using windows instead of Mac. The list of devices that are actually compatible with each feature are scattered randomly amongst a bunch of “ads” claiming how great their product is and how well it works. Which you have to comb through to find the small one word links for the specific feature you’re wanting to use. HERE IS THE LIST OF DEVICES COMPATIBLE WITH THE “ACTIVATION LOCK” FEATURE THAT THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT (which I only found after purchasing this feature, and only gained knowledge of it’s existence once I attempted to use said feature and was immediately met with a message saying “oh, sorry champ, we kinda sorta “okie-doked” you into thinking our software would work…but… PHYCH, we may or may not have mentioned that this devices is NOT COMPATIBLE! Here [<-the link] is a list of compatible devices”[not the actual message but instead, how I interpreted it as reading]. which is a MUCH DIFFERENT LIST THAN THEY SHOW ON THE MAIN PAGE. ) ***also just wanted to mention if your trying to get a REFUND and or CANCEL your mandatory “membership” (which this isn’t even a product that makes sense to have a membership to, except for them hoping your forget to cancel, allowing them to rip you off even further) they will ask for your “ORDER ID”, which they “conveniently” do not have anything listed as “order id” any where, on any doc/email/piece of information given to you. I assumed they meant the receipt number or possibly the invoice number, nope… they go out of their way in the faq section to even hide this further by saying “to cancel use your membership use your “order id number” (on some platforms it may be under “reference number”)” BUT NO, no mention of “order id” but yet the want to let you know “it may be under reference number!”🤡…ridiculously THE “ORDER ID#” IS ACTUALLY YOUR ACTIVATION CODE USED to ACTIVATE YOUR SOFTWARE. No legit company I’ve ever done business with or any business I’ve ever even heard of, used an activation code for software to identify your order or account… ever… and to me, this seems pretty intentional and super shady, attempting to make it as complicated as possible to request a refund and cancel your UNNECESSARY MEMBERSHIP. Its sad, it seems like they provide a legit service/software, they may go about it in a very misleading way and well… IT MAY BE VERY LIMITED but still legit for a couple devices BUT are just greedy, shady, scam-like F👉🏻👌KS ! I do apologize for ranting, just wanted to get the word out anyway possible.
