Hi! sorry for the late response make this macro and bind it to a key /run if IsMouselooking() then MouselookStop() else MouselookStart(); end when you toggle this macro you will enter and exit camera mode, in camera mode, your camera pans to your mouse movement. press the macro again to toggle out of it so you can use your cursor to select.

​@@alexandrosr5179 hey, I found the macro from this post us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/mouse-look-macro/576798 hope it contains more info to help you debug the macro, but it should do the trick: toggle to enter mouse look, toggle to exit

Thanks Nathan! Blizzard just got acquired by Microsoft so there seems to be a new breathe of new hope being infused to the team right now. They have long added controller support to Legion and other expansions but no commitment to the actual console space. If you want I would highly recommend ConsolePort as an addon for your friends to try so they can play with a controller. Haha yeah I didn’t build and intellect. I have about 210+ frost damage so I was able to three shot the mobs at the cost of mana. Since mages can make water so mana issue became moot.

@@bbee451 It's very immersive, pushing the thumbstick to move your character feels like you're playing a souls game or an action adventure game on console. granted if you play as a healer, targetting might take some time to get used to but when you play a melee class it feels like a totally new game and really draws you into the combat and action what class do you play back in the days?

I use Joy2Key because i need to bind the xbox controller share button to discord push to talk plus I wanted to convert the select button to another modifier (alt), left shoulder and right shoulder function great as (ctrl) and (shift) but an extra modifier greatly increases the button combinations you are allowed on the controller.

@@ShyShubre sometimes if it's too far i will use left trigger (left click) to target mob but for the most part i use a tab target macro /targetenemy the tab target mechanism works by cycling the selection of enemies nearby, it does have a search distance but it works as intended for you to cycle through all the enemies on your screen it also tends to target directly at what you're facing, something to keep in mind, i suggest you bind it to a very useful combination, for me it's Left shoulder + right shoulder + B

you might also want to make a macro for /targetlasttarget then go to keybind to bind "Interact with" to a key that way when you kill something, you will press target last target to bring up the corpse, and press interact to loot unfortunately wow does not allow users to make a macro to do them both so you will need to press two buttons to loot without using cursor

If you want a no fuss setup and a more packaged experience, I would recommend you to try out ConsolePort, the customization is not as granular but I have seen guys like gothalion tried it out in Season of Discovery, GL HF! :)

Thanks! We downed Sindragosa on HM and it was my proudest achievement, LK was very very tough but glad to have finished the fight on Normal! I think the toughest Raid for me personally was Sunwell. @@SteveJohnson-d1d My control scheme mirrors FF14, shoulder buttons are Ctrl and Alt modifier, while select button is the Shift modifier, so the cast combination is LS + X or RS + DUp I drew a lot of inspiration from Final Fantasy seeing their console support is on point. I have tried addons like ConsolePort but find them a bit limiting and I want more granular control over every facet of my gameplay so I decided to use a hodgepodge of addons along with Joy2Key to emulate the keyboard and mouse from the controller.
