3 coordinators in two years aint no recipe for success. aoc can be a great player somewhere else with a competent owner but not on the raiders because mark davis is an idiot. been around football his whole life and still can't see talent. raiders are now paying 4 coaches who aren't there anymore. so sick of this bozo

Good breakdown and good observation. His haters will completely ignore he has no run game. When defenses know you ain't running, guess what, they teeing off on the QB. Would like an answer to this one. For those who say Aidan is a backup, how many backups are running a spread offense??? Let's look at his starts with a solid oc, Turner. How many times did he put the offense in scoring position. You want a QB who consistently put you in position to score. My fa and draft. Aidan as the starter and draft a QB in the later rounds. 6) jeanty- the rb the offense desperately needs Fa or trade for tee Higgins or Tyreke Hill and sign our free agents.

Great video! Too many Raider fans are just too lazy to see there are other pressing needs this team has right now. If the running game gets fixed and the Raiders can add some better secondary cover guys to solidify that defense....Aidan has proven he can lead this team to victory in hostile spots like Arrowhead when facing Spagnola and that KC D. Sure hope the Raiders hire a great offensive minded HC to lead this team in 2025.

AOC has the arm to make all the throws and he’s definitely improving in moving his feet to extend plays, the knock I still have on him is consistency, he will look really good one week and then bad the next, that said consistency can definitely improve with experience. Hopefully he finishes the season strong and we stay put in the draft and take best player available rather then sell the farm to move up.

People keep bringing up Minshews mobility, but back n forth of running in circles too buy time to throw an INT doesn't sell to me. Plus Aidan did get 15 or so yards rushing. He's always improving.

I wish he would use his legs more, he’s made some great plays rolling past couple weeks. But I wish he would just take the 4-5 yard rush…it plants a seed on the defense that he CAN run for first

I'm honesty not against keeping AOC. I was saying last year they should stick to a guy and see what he can do 3 or 4 year's in with Bowers, another solid WR option and improve the o line so they can actually run the ball.

He’s not that guy! He can’t extend plays with his legs when the protection breaks down and it’s just a sack. He puts no pressure on the defense that he can run downfield for big chunks of yards. He basically needs a clean pocket to be successful

@@Grady-ef7di I came to these conclusions from watching AOC, not from mainstream/social media. Now, as far as Brady and Goff are concerned, there are exceptions to every rule, but they have won, and AOC has not (you forgot that part of the comparison). The top quarterbacks in today's NFL, like Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Josh Allen, and Jaden Daniels, all can extend plays with their legs and also scramble downfield for big yards. AOC can't do this and I would prefer a duel-threat QB.

Do u realize the Raiders have has TWO different HC's (AP being a DEI hire), and 4 (that's right FOUR)different OC's in these last 2 seasons?!? , my age is the number of the Superbowl-59, and I have followed the Raiders for perhaps longer than you have been alive. I saw them win Superbowls 11-15-18, so I am not a casual fan. In the modern NFL, with all the rule changes favoring the offense and the quarterbacks, it's just better to have an elite quarterback who is a duel threat and puts more pressure on the defense with his arm and legs. I don't dislike AOC but I want that elite duel-threat QB. Trust me, I know all of the History of the Raiders from being in 5 straight AFC CHAMPIONSHIPS in the 1970s and a great organization to the now dysfunctional organization. Also, I am from Michigan and the Lions have never been to a Superbowl and have stunk for decades until recently. Of course, if you put Tom Brady on a bad Lions team when he was drafted, he does not have all those rings. AOC needs a solid pocket while passing or he struggles where guys like Josh Allen can avoid the rush and run for 10 or 15 yards. When a defense is looking at Raider film they don't have to plan anything to keep AOC from breaking the pocket and making plays downfield running because he doesn't do that.

The Washington Commanders have not been a successful organization in a long time and last went to the playoffs in 2020 then Jayden Daniels comes in as a rookie with his arm and LEGS!! has them on the brink of the playoffs. I know about the Raider's History from when they were a great organization to the dysfunctional one they are now and I did not want McDummy or Ziegler and said on social media it was a mistake and I also wanted Harbaugh over AP for head coach because Harbaugh has a track record of winning and turning struggling teams into contenders. Now Harbaugh has taken a bad Chargers team last year to the playoffs.

Some QBs take awhile. AOC may develop, or he may not. However, there is no reason to panic. A losing team does not "sustainably" turn around in a year. (Aging high-priced free agents have a limited shelf life.) The last draft was a success. Raiders GM needs to add more talent by continuing to select the "Best Player Available." I'd love to see the Raiders spend the first three picks taking a quality Running Back and 1-2 Interior Offensive Linemen who want to compete with Jackson Powers-Johnson to see who can be the most bad-ass run blocker in the league. A good running game will help any QB Alternatively, trade some picks for 2026 Draft Capital so the Raiders can go after QB talent that can be relied on for the next decade. Trading up this year to get a QB is the equivalent of swinging hard at a curve-ball that is low and away. You might make contact, but you will either hit a foul ball or an infield grounder. Winners know when to swing for the fences.

Everyone complaining about it being the saints forget how he played against the chiefs last year. Ya, he didnt throw a TD, but he kept us in position to win and did enough to keep the defense in the game as opposed to keeping the defense on the field for over half the game and burning them out. On the facing the goal post thing, most qbs will do that to roll out of the pocket. Not often, but it is done, he just didnt feel where the danger was

Raider great Plunkett didnt win a SB his first 6 yrs going from Patriots to SF. He won 2 SB for the Raiders so we need patience with AOC he is still growing season after season. Once he plateaus and we see no growth then Raiders can get a different QB. Right now we need help with O Line and backfill defensive players that we dont resign. If a decent QB manages to fall to the Raiders take him but no jeed to trade up 2025.

@@jcruiz13I agree. Gannon was also essentially a journeyman back-up by the time he landed on the Raiders. Granted, he was immediately successful but not without bumps. But the message should be clear, AOC is improving and POTENTIALLY could be something special. All this changing coaches every 5 minutes and chasing "name" draft picks or players that don't necessarily pan out has been too common with this organization.

We need a QB that can at least make plays with his legs when need be. Iv'e seen enough of Aiden to know he isn't the long-term answer at QB for the raiders. AOC is a good back up QB. All the other teams in our division went and got their QB. Even on the first play you showed. One move to the left and he probably has at the least, a really good gain or a TD with a throw to the WR on the left. There are a bunch of misses with receivers breaking open but since the O-line is trash and he’s not mobile it’s a wrap.

What surprised me why are Raiders even playing Aiden the season is over at 2-12 who cares what Aiden does against 3rd string Jags and Saints. The only thing Aiden did was dropped the Raiders from the n#1 draft pick to the 9th draft pick. Aiden is a disappointment so are the Raiders they are a last place team who win garbage games at the end.
