I can’t believe how many race vehicles lost wheels in this video. Talking about losing things, how about “old mate” at 7.20 mins who loses his helmet all together - he obviously didn’t have it strapped up. At least it was slightly betterer than the “Bushwacker” at the end who couldn’t afford a helmet!!!

For all the questions about the dront wheels. I believe they have to be mostly stock. They plan for the front to come up but cant do anything about it bucking once it does. Its part of the sport. Plus they are weight limited so they can only do so much.
@minnesotatomcat5 күн бұрын
If you know there’s a good chance the front end is gonna come up and then slam back down….then why not build a front end that can handle it?
@ReVox77a5 күн бұрын
why do they always make the front wheels so shitty? Surely they notice that they just keep snapping off?!

6:05 Wow, imagine not having a lot of fire extinguishers. You would think the personal would have many fire extinguishers to their disposal, but I guess not, very odd. You just caused A WHOLE LOT MORE BURNING of a tractor, this is insane. And why in most clips of Tractor pulling mishaps/fails, do the personal have tiny extinguishers, you would think they ALL would have BIG size fire extinguishers, over a thousand HP tractors with MULTIPLE engines pulling and not most guys have small extinguishers…

They said back in the 70s it's a sport of inches.. I remember back in the mid 90s I was at Urbana Ohio watching one and the guy moved the sled like 60 feet and stopped, the lady I was seeing asked what happened? I said it was a pull off and the other guy broke so he couldn't pull so he moved the sled for points and saved his machine for the next night.

The detrimental disadvantages of pulling on gravel as opposed to packed clay are obvious. I’ve never understood why the pulling associations allowed for such poor quality tracks. Poor tracks= poor puller participation = poor quality shows= poor ticket sales

Hey why don't they use a neck protection. Like in NASCAR? Also, tractors do wheelies, and use front weights to keep the front down. Why they don't use a car, truck differential, and the pumpkin to keep the front end down. Great Vidos, hope no one got hurt, thx

I loved going to these pulls in the late 70s and early 80s. Watching them now I'm reminded that the tractors (the Molines, Allis Chalmers,ect) were not that old at the time. These machines were the work of true master mechanics.
