@@handmadebyraine I wasn't sure how I could place this around the base of my artificial Christmas tree since this skirt has no opening and the center is quite small. So I tried starting my skirt with 32 chains, joining to the first chain, and then single crochetting in each chain around to make the center larger. Then, I continued on with round two of your pattern. That worked out beautifully. I will be able to place the skirt over the base of my tree and then insert the tree into the base over the skirt, if that makes sense. I am mentioning this only to help others who may be wondering the same thing. xox

Dear Raine, I love your videos and everything you make, and these are no exception. Just beautiful! Could you please share what you used to hang them? It looks like there's a decorative finial at the top, attached to a thin ribbon. Do you have a link for the top piece? Thank you so much for your many wonderful videos and especially for this lovely, seasonal pattern. Happy holidays to you! 🎄

Thank you, Janet! You read my mind. I planned to add the link to the hanging log but forgot. I will add it now. Thank you so much for being my most loyal friend here on KZbin! Happy holidays to you, too! ❄️🌲

You could try smaller size thread and hook, or maybe skip a few rounds.

Very pretty. Instructions are great. I will see if I can crochet something with such a small needle! 🥰 I want to make it for my granddaughter. I’ll come back when it’s completed. I’m working on a shawl right now so it may take a while.

This pattern came out gorgeous, but I will say it was a bit hard to follow. You did a great job explaining every step, but the math of the pattern was off at times, and I had to fudge the numbers at some points (ei skip or add a stitch here and there). In the end it came out great but I would say this is not for inexperienced crocheters.
