Thank you!! How exciting, I’m sure you’ll have a brilliant time! We didn’t train at all but all have a base level of fitness and some of us are runners. It may be worth doing a few training walks just so you’ll feel more confident that you can do it. If you are doing it over a week or more I feel as though you’ll be fine, of course the less time you have to do it I can imagine it will be much harder to complete. Good luck with it!!

Nice to know that you can always find Burger King and Bubba Gump Shrimp no matter where you are in the world haha and the view from the terrace was incredible! I'd definitely have gone for the bungee jumping, though 😉 Immigration and security in China is known to be pretty aggressive, so I'm not surprised to hear that there were multiple layers of security, screening and passport verification. Glad that you left yourselves plenty of time, even if it meant skipping out on some of the fun tourist attractions in Hong Kong this time around. There's always next time! Also glad that you made it safely to the hotel with the language barrier and all that taxi cab anxiety 😂 We are _so_ excited to see your Universal Beijing vlog! Thanks for sharing, super cool travel video! ✨

You were quick to learn lessons from your first day, I see! Despite the higher crowd level, it seems like there's no real reason to rush from the gate to the various lands...especially since they do a sort of phased or gradual rope drop for each holding area of the park. I definitely think that was a splash on the camera for your Frozen photos and not a deliberate blur or censoring of some sort 😂 I'm sure it happens all the time, and we just don't notice it most of the time! I had also meant to mention in the Day One vlog that the hidden Disney characters in 'it's a small world' are also part of the experience in Disneyland California. If and when you make it back to those parks on the West Coast of the US, I think you'll see a lot of similarities to the overseas parks. California is often used as a sort of testing ground for new experiences and updates before rolling them out to places like DLP, WDW, and HKDL. Walt's original castle may be small, but the original Disney park is still the source of all Disney magic! ✨ I also really love experiences like Playhouse in the Woods, that'd have to be a must-do for us haha the optical illusions in the garden were really cool! Shame about Tarzan's Treehouse, but hopefully that'll be a fun thing to come back and experience on a future visit. Looks like another all-around great day at the park, plus or minus your trouble getting out of the station... 😉 Great vlog Lauryn!

Possible hot take here, but Hong Kong may very well have the best castle of them all. 😍 I would also say that Hong Kong's Frozen land pretty much _buries_ Norway (EPCOT). It's a bit less educational, sure, but the whole area is a beautiful piece-by-piece recreation of the Arendelle from the movies and I _love_ that! Glad to hear that the Frozen Ever After attraction is noticeably better than the one at EPCOT, too - when the version at Hong Kong first opened, we were a little disappointed that it looked like a copy+paste job. Love that Elsa (Spirit Elsa, at that) does meet and greets just outside the ride queue, too! "This is the best day of my entire life" 😂 I don't doubt it, seems like win after win all morning long! Mystic Manor and Jungle Cruise are some of the rides we're most looking forward to if we're able to visit this park someday; both are definitely unique among all the sister attractions in the Disney parks around the world. Maybe I'm biased as a former stage actor, but I also love little stage-play-style shows like the one you saw for Moana! They have something similar at the Aulani Resort in Hawaii and it's the cutest little thing. I'm also all for anything that includes audience participation haha good to see that the Tomorrowland sound loop remains the same, all around the world 😉 California's 'Small World' also has all of the hidden Disney characters, but I'm not sure that they have the lead-in for each section telling you which part of the world you're in. We'll be back to Disneyland shortly and will be sure to let you know! haha the Marvel land in Hong Kong looks at least unique, if not quite as flashy. And the firework and drone shows were amazing! Terrific vlog, so cool to see all of this from your perspective! Can't wait to watch the day two vlog! ✨

What a long travel day for you all! Hopefully you saved enough money to make the multi-leg journey worth the hassle haha I must say, based on this and a few other vlogs, I feel as though the Manchester airport offers much better food than most of the American airports we’ve flown out of! 😝 The safety video on your first flight was definitely a bit of a trip, too. United has a strange one, but this one definitely beats it out on a scale of weirdness alone. Second flight looked like it was pretty comfortable, even relative to the longer flight you’d just come off of. Surprised how empty that bullet train was…but not at all surprised to hear that it departed two minutes early haha efficiency is a core tenet of the culture! Drop two mins at one stop, you have to make it up at another stop 😉 Glad you made it safely into your hotel and can’t wait to check out your Hong Kong Disneyland vlogs! ✨

I never really considered it until now, but the decision to phase out paper maps really does hurt international visitors of the parks a little. The apps work great when they work, but if you can’t even download or navigate them in an unfamiliar park, you’re up a creek! 😅 I hope we see a renaissance return of paper maps in the future. The “rain, rain, rain” scene in the Pooh ride is actually a carbon copy of the same scene in Disneyland’s version in California, so while not exactly “new” it is at least pulling from the superior version of the attraction. Same with the canoes, btw - a Disneyland (CA) original! 😁 The hedge maze was so cool and seeing Marshmallow in the parade was a neat surprise! The ropes course would definitely be one chief must-do after Pirates, though. Can’t wait to experience that someday! Great second day vlog! ✨

Your breakfast at the Holiday Inn looked better than most of what the domestic Disney value resorts offer 😂 Good to know that they will need to check government ID’s (passports) as we’d not done the research to discover that yet, and glad to hear that there are some English speakers at guest services, too. Pirates Shanghai is the *gold standard* for screen-based dark rides, that is for sure! 😍 The boats you are describing are a custom design by Mack Rides so that they twist and turn and respond to story scenes dynamically. The same ride system is expected to be used for the new Avatar attraction coming to Disneyland in California, although presumably fewer screens 😉 You had great seats for all of the shows and parades, too! Surprised how many of those classic tunes are performed in English, actually. Like many attractions, Disney World gets the weakest version of Buzz Lightyear 😂 But there are obvious similarities to other attractions globally. Interestingly, Tokyo just announced that their version of Buzz Lightyear is going to be closing forever to be re-themed to Wreck-it-Ralph. Loved seeing Duffy and ShellieMay in the parade. I dig that the Frozen show brings some of the big numbers from the second movie in, too! Good to know that you can always fall back on the Cheesecake Factory no matter where you are in the world! Haha great video ✨

Can’t say I was expecting to see a Tim Horton’s in Shanghai 😂 I can’t imagine how challenging it must be to have to navigate dietary restrictions (veganism included) in a country where they seem to be minimally acknowledged and where the language is so difficult to translate. There is something to be said for the reliability of McDonald’s all across the globe - it may not be the best food, but at least you know exactly what you’re getting! Also would 10000000% have gone into the Shanghai Dungeon in your shoes…there’s a ride in there as well! And speaking of rides, best river crossing _EVER_ ✨ The Shanghai Disney store is reputably the best in the world and I can see why….so cool! Getting to see the gardens from the cafe might have actually been a better deal than seeing them on foot, to be honest. And the market street was worth the journey all on its own! No trumpets 😂 just a general rule lolol and the view from atop the Shanghai Tower looked incredible! Talk about having your head in the clouds. The whole experience seemed pretty posh to me, but in the best possible way! Looked like an amazing couple of days exploring! ✨

Yaaaaaaasss the vlog series we’ve been anxiously awaiting has finally begun! 😍 Good effort trying to grab food early on, we almost always make that mistake on travel day. I’m not hungry until I’m hungry - and by then it’s far too late! The slope of the tray table would be a problem for me, I’m all but constantly using that surface for something, be it laptop or food. Also, if you were able to collect real-world money every time you managed to win “Who Wants to be a Millionaire” on long flights, you could all probably quit your day jobs at this point! 😂 Always so exciting to touch down in a brand new country…and such a relief to see that most of the guidance is available in English. AHHH IT’S A MEGAVLOG! We know a couple of bus drivers at WDW, and can confirm that yours gave you the gospel truth on how they become engaged in a contract with the Walt Disney Company. It all starts with ‘it’s a small world’ and spirals out of control from there 😂 Anytime we board the Millennium Falcon, we flip a coin (sometimes metaphorically) for who gets to be right-pilot. Making the jump to light speed is by far the best role on the ship…but Tower of Terror is the best ride in DHS, hands down! As far as queuing for Flight of Passage, I’d recommend casually walking into the queue at roughly thirty minutes to close. Depending on the time of year, it’s not uncommon to see it with a fifteen or twenty minute wait! Also agree that DINOSAUR is probably a bit too scary for _most_ of the younger crowd…but to be fair, height requirements are more about safety than they are about sanity 😜 Sorry to learn that you didn’t have a particularly active section of the Savannah during your stay. It can be very hit or miss, since the animals do as they please, but I will say that both of our stays with Savannah-view balconies have been incredible! At least you were able to snag yourselves some Sanaa, that is hands down our favorite table-service restaurant on WDW property. Hoping to grab a reservation for our anniversary visit in a few months’ time! Looked like a great final day at the Magic Kingdom, too…I’m actually surprised to hear that you loved TRON! I’ve yet to encounter any other Disney enthusiast who does haha but I certainly do! Glad you finally made it on. Great final vlog 💫

$150 per person is really not that bad for a VIP tour! 😍 It costs significantly more to do a similar tour at Universal, so I was expecting Disney’s pricing to be much steeper. Is that price also inclusive of your DVC discount? Love that Walt Disney quote, too. AKL is our favorite of the WDW resorts, and Jambo House in particular is such a marvel even to this day. I do agree that the system of rooms and hallways is confusing, though 😂 I’m sure that you found out later during your stay, but that area of the Savannah is actually very busy in the mornings! The watering hole draws in a lot of fuzzy friends. Love the “gingeraffe” cookie lol and your Test Track car looked like one of those little Smartcars! Also a ten minute wait of Frozen is basically a walk-on, that’s some real Disney magic ✨ Great video!

We have always wanted to do the Ducktales scavenger hunt, too, but we’re always so short on time and we worry about making it onto all our favorite rides in what is usual a single-day visit. One day! I don’t know when you last boarded Spaceship Earth, but I can assure you that nothing has changed in at least ten years 😂 part of why we are still waiting anxiously for the refurb and reimagining that was announced and then indefinitely delayed! Most people do DHS the other way around, so your vlogs always offer a somewhat unique perspective on the park! Plus, it’s a great way to escape the crowds on a particularly busy day. So cool that Frozen has a holiday variation worked in, too… I do have to fight you on MuppetVision 3D, though. That is our only true ride-or-die attraction parkwide 😜 Glad that you were able to find a nice, warm coat to keep you going. That DVC discount has saved us hundreds of dollars at this point, no lie! I've always been of the opinion that those resort mugs are well worth the splurge if you're planning to spend more than two days on resort property 😊 Glad to hear that Moana's did not disappoint! We have not been back to WDW since it opened, but we're looking forward to exploring that area and world celebration when we make it back. Truth be told, we love a good walkthrough attraction almost as much as we love a good ride! Not surprised to see that the black licorice is not selling well, it's never been a fan favorite 😂 "Classic France" hahaha you're not wrong, though! I will also never fully understand why Walmart is such a passion for our friends in the UK. Maybe we just take it for granted here in the US, but...I am team Target all the way, unless I'm desperate for a lawn chair after midnight 😜 However, if plant-based Reeses are your jam, you must chart a course to Hershey's Chocolate World in Pennsylvania one day! There's a whole aisle devoted to plant-based chocolate and other vegan candy products. I can't believe you pushed through more than twelve straight hours of park, candlelight processional and even closed the park down with the fireworks...all on less than five hours of sleep. Kudos to you! As much as we love going hard at the parks, I don't think we'd be able to muster up that level of energy after 24 hours of travel haha great video! ✨
