What you need to be worried about Kim, is the fact that the bible is very clear on the role of a woman in ministry. Although women have a beautiful place in ministry. Being a "Lead Pastor or Co-Lead" is absolutely not one of them and you know this. You cannot adapt God's clear words to the culture you want to live in simply because you feel that women should be able to do anything a man does. The problem today, and the true enemy of "the church" (God's Children), are those that feel they can manipulate God's word to suit the needs of modern ministry. Although modern ministry is important, it is also important to recognize that modern ministry also openly unites homosexual couples in marriage, becomes involved in political movements that have nothing to do with saving souls and is blatantly losing focus on what we are meant to do, and that is better our relationships with our Heavenly Father personally and as Christs family. Getting people in the door on Sunday should never involve compromising God's word and the laws he has set forth for us and our salvation. I agree that tradition is not always our friend and although you may be proud of the progress you think you are bringing to the modern church, you should also know you are teetering on a very steep slope when you manipulate our Father's careful words. You should really ask yourself in all sincerity, if the enemy you've referred to in past messages, might be the same enemy working in the person you see in the mirror each morning. Don't interpret God's word to others, simply to suit personal agendas.

Am I to understand that it is now acceptable for women to teach men in biblical doctrine? I haven't seen any new books in the bible that supersede God's word regarding women leading as pastors. Women are amazing instruments in ministry. Do not manipulate God's word to fit with "modern culture". Modern culture is the same culture that proclaims God makes mistakes when assigning a gender to his children, unites homosexuals in marriage, murders unborn children...and the list goes on. As God's children, the last thing we should be doing is compromising our beliefs and the laws our Father set in place for our own salvation. Twisting God's word will not bear good fruit and will always prove to manifest hardship.
