@@keyalameer522 it’s unfortunate because people should be able to focus on the health without fear of losing their jobs. I wish more companies understood that.

A vegan option? 😂😮 I think making people options is a whole ‘nother broadcast 😅 Again, all of these avenues, wants, desires, and decisions are individually based. I’m not sure my option is to be looked at as an option lol- but hey, real talk. You have to get to know a person. And until you do, I suppose everyone you’re attracted to is an ‘option.’ Unless there’s some out of this world connection, and I would love to believe that exists; you’d still have to take the steps to really know each other. 😉 Vegan option 😂 When Harry Met Sally? They didn’t even like each other so that diner scene was Harry’s preview of what he didn’t know was to come I guess 😅 Except remember, that was Sally showing her fake moves, she wasn’t saying it was the expectation. She was saying that’s what it looks like when she fakes it. “I’ll have what she’s having.” 😂😮😅 Who’s vegan 😅

I would add that being fake only breeds disconnection between you and your partner. And even yourself. However, there are boundaries, compromises, and meeting in the middle. If you are only having sex to have sex, that’s one thing. But if you are into the relationship, you want to feel more connected and respected. You want to show respect by being authentic. This is where trust resides. I feel that if partners can trust and be genuine, the loyalty is just a natural occurrence/consequence. There’s nothing to force, as the union is glued together by intimacy and the honesty in it. I’ve chosen to remain alone for quite a while now, because these are all my personal goals. I’m just not interested in anything less. … though rollercoasters are mostly fun 😂 Emotional highs are super cool. There’s always that if that’s what you prefer.

Almost everything is still about image. It’s true that in the USA we hide our bodies more than some other countries. Until we get past this ideality, we are going to need more conversations like this. There’s also life experiences along the way that because of the way we perceive our bodies, may cause a shame pattern. It takes being open to examining who you are, as a whole. We are not just our bodies or just our brains, we are a connected embodiment of multiple facets. It takes getting past societal concepts and preconceived notions of what we should be or look like. I mean, what do we want as an individual? It may just be a lifelong process that we need to revisit in cycles. I know that is my story, personally, my perception of myself and what I want changes as I grow as a person. It’s okay to be the person you are, and wherever we are at the time. Maybe we all need to be more open to the evolutionary journey. Maybe some people are happy the way they are. Thank you for this candid talk.

Sorry lots of comments - good point, my daughter loves the instant pot thing I got her and crock pots. I grew up with a vegetable garden but there was just so much other stuff! My mom was always ill due to an accident so she didn’t always chose the right foods. Plus cigarettes with my Grandma/ alcohol with my Mom. It’s a learning process …. We are learning as we go now instead of carrying on as if there’s no such thing as evolving. Not necessarily talking about religion just we evolve as a society as a natural progression. I Cooked way more when I had my daughter with me - way less packaged things! She is a master cooker now! She can take any ingredients and smash them all into a crockpot lol 😅
@Notplayinginurweirdness3 ай бұрын
Heck yeah - reprogram! I miss my bad food choices lol but I just look at it now like - do I want to feel good or do I want to feel yucky? Well I want to feel good and maybe a treat is okay but you want to learn to change your brain thinking. And now I like Brussels sprouts lol. No way I would eat those before!
@Notplayinginurweirdness3 ай бұрын
You can even get things delivered from cheaper stores now and eating out has gotten expensive unless it’s the dollar menu. There’s obstacles depending on where you live - but in general it has changed.
@Notplayinginurweirdness3 ай бұрын
You can actually find affordable food and organic food now at places like Grocery Outlet, if you can’t have a vegetable garden or shop at other stores. Might not have as many consistent choices but in the past this wasn’t so. I do think this pertains to mental health. If you research foods, they do affect the brain as well as the body, and our moods!

A lot of people are exposed to toxins and have inflammatory issues. I’ve been exposed to toxins as well. I have been almost all vegan and gluten free for years, maybe 20 years or so now. But then I had to find vitamins and I’m still finding more nutritional information as I go. I didn’t think I was allergic to anything but I think I actually was and/or developed them as I got older. I’m bad about processed food- I will admit that living alone I don’t cook like I should, but instead it’s easier to grab a box of something after working all day. I’m slowly adding more real food, though. In a perfect world, I would make everything from scratch. I try 😅

What I meant by the collective comment, is that the norm should be understanding as a whole and support for all of us, not just the people who don’t have health and mental issues. If you do not have issues, be aware that one day you might or might find a loved one who does. Or maybe with more compassion we will all help each other, not just people in health fields and such and not always for pay. What kind of place would be in as a society if we all cared more about ourselves and others? Bravo to the guests as well for being brave and coming forth on camera to share their stories. Sometimes that can be hard to do and talk so openly about the details and experiences.
@Notplayinginurweirdness3 ай бұрын
A lot of people don’t pay attention to health details until they’re older or something happens. We are not taught to be proactive, but I think it’s been changing over time. There’s way more awareness now, whereas previously what we saw pertained mainly to exercise routines and appearances. I think we are more focused on health and healthy actions. More understanding is crucial, and breeds compassion towards ourselves and others. We need to operate as a collective.

I would say, let your deepness grow, without overthinking about the results when you decide to share it with others. You have to have healthy boundaries, especially with being a public person. But, it sounds like you have a lot to give, so maybe you’d be surprised to find who does resonate with the real you- not just the public persona. I’ve heard you say you’re not for everyone, however, in my experience this has led me to being more closed off than not. Until you get to know a person, it can be a bit awkward or scary to let your guard down. You have so much to share, so why not expand on this interview from here? You have been extremely forthcoming, however, there might be deeper levels that you don’t even understand yet. *I preach this to myself as I type this 😂 I’m not a public person, but anyone can apply this to their lives. Alone time is good, so we all can practice mindfulness and stillness. It’s time to get out and be seen as we truly are. Of course, discernment is key. Those of us who just love to give tend to reel back , if we feel manipulated. *Once again, I give myself this advice 😂 But, after the introspection, I find reflection. Once I realize we all tend to mirror each other, it’s easier for me to open up. Sauce? 😂 Well, in reality, most people like what they will to eat. I grew up in a time where it was popular to eat what everyone else did, as it was seen as a common courtesy. I think we have evolved enough to know that it’s okay to have choices. Eat what you will 😂 I like to see what other people are eating, though I might not eat it myself. It’s just interesting to see all of the different kinds of food options and what people pick. Squirrel energy- yes, even if I’m in my house, I am a busy body person 😅 I agree, we only have the time we do here, so may as well dance in the kitchen and make the most out of it. *More self-preaching* 😂 Hope you enjoy this novella-type comment 😅 I appreciate your authenticity. 😊

Thank you for talking about this issue. Too many people don’t understand it at all unless they’ve experienced it. It’s hard to see a parent drinking themselves to death and there’s nothing you can do. At the time, I didn’t understand and I wish I had treated my dad more kindly. They are people too but it’s hell to live through.
